Hello GOG community. :) I was wondering, if there is a list of good recent games that can run okay on an weak computer. A list made by gamers who know for sure, not just guessing. When I say "weak", I'm talking about a computer that can barely handle Oblivion. A computer that can't even handle Fallout 3 and Skyrim. Not netbook weak but weak. If such a list does not exist, I'd appreciate it if people started listing good recent games that they know for sure can run okay on a weak computer. Please, no guessing. I don't trust the system requirements advertised with every game, if you are wondering why I don't just do some research.
World of Goo is a recent indie game that's not very resource intensive.
I was gonna say Bastion, but apparently it needs more than Oblivion, WTF!

I appreciate you responding but The Witcher EE does not run okay on a weak computer. That game is demanding for a weak computer.

That's kind of vague - first off, what kind of games are you looking for? What do you expect from "recent" games? Are you fine with indie games and adventures or are you really looking for fastpaced 3D action, for example? And secondly, do you have any system specs to share, or at least the year you bought your PC? "Weak" can mean any kind of system set-up that's a bit older or not tailored towards hardcore gaming.

My PC is "weak", too - bought in 2007 and currently only using an onboard graphic card. Is that the "weak" we're talking about or is yours actually a lot more powerful? Personally I can't enjoy The Witcher or Bastion on my rig, they're both too laggy. The more recent games I play are almost exclusively indie games (and most of the time advventures, RPGs, platformers and puzzle games).

I like all kinds of good games but I like non indie good games a little bit more. What I meant in my previous post with "weak" is this
8600m GT video card with 512 ram
2 GB DDR2 memory
Intel Core 2 Duo processor T9300 2.5 GHz

Mass Effect 3 runs like a charm on such machines, even with Origin running in the background? WOW. That is impressive.

That sounds great. Now I'm tempted to install Origin... Mass Effect 2 ran great on the machine I posted above. Do you know if Mass Effect 3 is more optimized than Mass Effect 2?

Nimbus, SHANK 1 & 2, Burnout Paradise should do OK (I know it's not recent but it's a fun game), STREET FIGHTER IV and higher should be running OK too.

Street Fighter IV playable with mouse and keyboard?

Didn't play it myself but I think it should be playable with a keyboard. A controller is recommended though.

STREET FIGHTER IV played with a keyboard
