Ive been scouring the net looking for nice 1080 wallpapers for my TV. its a pain in the ass without using google images since they ot infected with that "redirect" virus. So i ask you mighty GOGers.

Do you know of or have some really nice 1920x1080 wallpapers that are on the darker side? stuff like micro organisms, bacteria, viruses, or just darker themed wallpapers...

Sure, the widescreen version is 16:10 rather than 16:9, but you could either accept he slight stretching or cut it down yourself.

since im not a paying member of DA im unable to search for certain resolutions its a general 20 result random search via sections or keywords. Alice is nice, cant wait for the new game. And i have high hopes after McGee mentioned at a press release he wants the original Alice available to everyone prior to the release of "madness"

its based off of one of the quake engines so i dont see a terrible issue getting it to work on modern day systems... Q1-4 all run great on 7/64

Dark in terms of colors or dark in terms of the theme of the image? There's some nice GW2 wallpapers that have a dark theme to them, but most of them have of lot of white.

They also have more wallpapers in the profession and race pages. Also made a few wallpapers out of the 1080p version of their first trailer. Attached to the post is a crappy low-quality version of my favorite (the not-so crappy version was obviously too big to upload to the GOG forums)

Don't really have any wallpapers that use mostly dark colors unfortunately, well apart from a Shodan one that can fit pretty much any screen because it's mostly black.

To avoid the redirect simply use the Noscript plug in for your browser of choice. That said, I don't know how many browsers it supports now. But there should be an alternative for most browsers I'd have thought.
