Nice giveaway rampancy, kudos for the idea! +1

NOT IN. I'm waiting GOG to release it sometime.. I hope it will..

* As a side note, i don't remember if Homeworld used to install Sierra Utilities. If that's the case, be careful with that piece of software/ bloatware.. It can wipe precious data form the HDD in case you'll need to uninstall the game.. It happened to me with Half-Life & Viper Racing. :(

And...... if i was trapped in a walking simulator, well, that's what i would do.. :-)
I'm IN.

If I was trapped in a walking simulator, I probably won't even recognize the difference between that and reality. So I'd be going about my regular activities.

IIRC this particular release of Homeworld doesn't install Sierra Utilities, but I'll double check just to be sure.
Yep, you better check it out and warn the winner about it. And for everyone else that don't know about this bug in Sierra Utilities, please check out this thread in another forum!

By saying that, I don't mean you should not install any Sierra game.. You just need to exercise caution when you want to uninstall the Sierra Utilities so as to not delete the parent folder they are installed into..

I just reinstalled the game, and yes, the game does not install Sierra Utilities. I just realized that the game does not come with the 1.05 patch preinstalled, but I can just include that in the of additional extras that I'm burning for the winner.
A very cool giveaway indeed. Not in though because I try not to collect physical goods... They tend to pile up :/... At least my digital library doesn't gathers dust :)

You miss all the fun of trying to put an order to all your stuff to make room for more to come.. it's like tetris, only better! :-P

No I'm not. I did this back in the days, when you could buy only bootleg CDs. I had about 250 CDs with games. Then I had over 300 DVDs with games/movies (160+ with games) and TV shows... Now i have only digital accounts.

Apparently I was joking! :-) I know this is difficult for many people. Even I, who love physical stuff, have a *minor* (yeah right!) space problem and recently I gave away some games & stuff to friends so as to get the remaining stuff into order. And I don't have so many stuff like you had... ;-)

...and in general I understand that, as I've targeted giveaways for games that are either unavailable on GOG (like my last physical giveaway for the Metal Slug Collector's Edition), or unavailable digitally (such as Homeworld). I have two more physical copies of games that are rare/unavailable on GOG - hopefully I'll get some more interest for them?
I'm certainly in!

Were I in a walking simulator, I'd just go off The Path, get a little expository nonsense through The Passage, have the narrator cry to me about his Dear Esther, and then go in reverse so I can say I've Gone Home. Those are the three that I've played, anyways

What a creative entry!

It depends.. Can you give us a little hint? *wink wink* ;-)
BUMP!

Okay, last call for entries. Here's who I have on my list (in no particular order):

1. GoodGuyA
2. trentonlf
3. Bigs
4. huN73R

Damien did say he was in, but he didn't post a reply to my question in my OP, so I'm not counting him in yet.

I'll wait a few hours before I start picking a winner.

One game is a very sought-after sequel to a classic game that just got on GOG after a long wait. The other is almost (well, sorta) on the same level as System Shock 2 in terms of unavailability and demand (as far as I know anyway).

Honestly, there's probably plenty of interest, but some people either don't wish to inconvenience you too much, or they like some of the current entries as they are. Since there's no proxy-entries, they abstain. I'm a bit of both.

However, let's roll the dice and make things interesting. More interesting, I mean: you're already committed to using Canada Post and they make things interesting all by themselves :P But, just to play off the national pride, prevent valuable treasures from going offshore, and spare you whatever international overheads there are, I'll be your 11th hour IN!

If I were trapped in a walking simulator, I'd shout "EEEE!" at everything. EVERYTHING! That's how it works, usually: if there's any interaction possible at all, it's done with E. If I get bored, I could switch over to "Click-click." But there probably won't be any, this being a bona fide walking simulator. Getting through everything there is to Eeee and Click at will probably take a while, likely drive me batshit mad, so once I'm done, I should be able to, easily enough get to counting things: steps, flowers, rocks, trees, houses, bees, bears, mermaids, merbutlers. Some of these I might make up in my insanity, but I'm not sure which ones. In the end, I'll follow trenton's lead, join him at the highest peak there is (having counted, climbed, and generally exhausted the mountainous possibilities and myself), and just sit there, blankly staring at the beautiful scenery, flawlessly coded, desperately wishing to be brought back to windchills, traffic jams, HR staffers, taxes, neighbours who work unnatural hours, relatives... Remind me again: What exactly is wrong with walking simulators?

EDIT: Also, I'll do it all walking backwards. These things never have tripping, falling, or ankle-spraining mechanics, anyway, might as well learn something new while doing it. Besides, S beats W any day.

Well, I aim to please. :D And I hope that with the next GA I do, it'll be a little more interesting than this one...

Ha! That's one hell of an entry. I should give you a prize just for that! :D

Anyway. Here are the entries I have so far:

1. GoodGuyA
2. trentonlf
3. Bigs

Edit: And guess what? It turns out that I am giving you a prize after all Spinorial, because you've won! Praise the Gods of Randomness!
