The Golden Land series was an epic Baldur's Gate style RPG, I believe, released in Russia. There was an English translation done, but to my knowledge it was never commercially released. Anyone know if this was release in English?
Could be a GREAT title for GOG!

Major Bump
Sorry for bumping this old post but I am wading my way through all the old General Discussion Threads (Thanks for the Mark all as read button GOG).
Anyway - Is there any information on this game? I have seen all the Gamspot stuff and even a few Russian sites where there is a Golden Land 2 also.

I was desperately looking for an english translation as well. Even made by fans. No luck so far. I've been told that a spanish version is available though.

I saw Golden Land 2 is selling for 119 Rubles, which is about 4.00 US. These games need a Western Publisher or even CD Projekt.

Thanks for bringing this thread to attention. I've never heard of this game before. It'd be nice to get an English translation + release here.

Navagon: Seriously, sometimes it's best to start a new thread. :P

Like the original post said, I came upon this while looking through old threads and would never have even known about this game if not for the thread. It only had the one original post so why not just bump it and ask instead of retyping everything from the first post. I don't see the point.
