It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

edit: Here is the Chrome extension. Thanks to Ubivis for putting the file on the server.

Barefoot_Monkey: Hmm, I need to find somewhere to host this file. Well, in the meantime I'll do the old jpeg+zip trick and post it here as an image which you can "save as" a zip file with everything you need inside. I'll set up a proper site for it over the weekend.

The attached zip file (don't be deceived by the .jpeg extension) contains a Google Chrome extension which does what the Firefox script does, but does it much better and in Chrome.
this is great :) the icon fits well :)

I have uploaded the script, so everyone who does not want to mess around with renaming, just click this link:

Lorfean: Awesome job guys. I've added myself.

Question though -- is there a way to change and/or add some fields in the basic information form? If, for example, I wanted a "From" and "Location" field, instead of "Nationality", because I don't live in the country that I am from? Or if I wanted (for some reason) to change "Day of birth" to "Born on"?

Edit:
The same question for the Registered services form. I'd like to add my Backloggery to that.
Backloggery has been added... just add the variable
"backloggery = yourName"
to the registered services block :)

Barefoot_Monkey: Good news - the extension is working completely. I'll post it as soon as I finish packing it.

New version of the Chrome extension is ready. I recommend that Chrome users click on the following link to update or install the extension.

http://www.gogwiki.com/chrome/GogWikiSync.crx

Changelog (v 0.1.1)

New feature: When browsing the GOG.com forum, the usernames next to each post will now act as links to the corresponding users' pages in the wiki if you have the extension installed. (the firefox script has the same feature)

Animation during sync has been touched up, and the tab has a title now.

The new version of the extension knows how to update itself, so this is the last time you'll need to manually click on a link to update.

Nice! :)
Awesome. Great job with this!
I love you.
Thanks, guys - I'm glad you like it. I love you too, Fuzzy.
The Opera version is done. I submitted it to the extension gallery. Apparently there's a moderation process that could take a few days, but once that's done you'll be able to get it from Opera's website.
Opera support has arrived! I have updated the first post.

Now most of the major browsers are catered for. It's mainly Safari and IE left out now. Hopefully that can be remedied. The Firefox one should probably be ported from GreaseMonkey to Jetpack when I get the chance.

My only issue with this is that usernames are now white. I'm not sure where style information is kept for Chrome extensions, otherwise I could easily fix this myself.

Other than that, this is brilliant! Hopefully it brings a few more helpful hands to the wiki :)
