It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

tarangwydion: Does not work for me. My page does not show anything:
http://www.gogwiki.com/index.php?title=User:Tarangwydion
You need to edit your page (and in that case, create it) and add xml tags to it. Look few posts up, BM explained that to ChaunceyK.

I see. I thought the page is automatically created/generated. I'll try it now.

To see an example how the tags work, go to my page, click 'edit' at the top. You'll see how it looks in edit mode. Or you can look through other users' pages to find other ideas.
Thanks. Mine is up already. I took ChaunceyK's template.
I have absolutely no idea how to either "edit" or create my userpage for that site. But I do apparently have an account there :D

Disclaimer: I have never, not once, edited a wikipage...ever...
It seems like a good idea but using it kind of begs the question;

If anyone on the internet can see the gogwiki page, surely they will see someones got 300 games etc then they will try to hack their account to aquire those games?

Why would they bother? If they want these games that badly without paying, they could just hit torrent.

Hi. I see you got it working already, so I'll just clarify how the different pages work.

When you use the GreaseMonkey script to send your info to the wiki a special page is automatically created for your games list, your shelf, and your wishlist. These are made with your GOG.com username, so you don't even need a GOGWiki account for this to happen.

Your user page is something else entirely. You get one by having a GOGWiki account whether or not you use my GreaseMonkey script. But I extended the wiki software so that you can embed information from those special pages I mention in the previous paragraph into any page on the wiki, including your user page (which is where I'd expect most people would want to embed stuff about their GOG accounts).

Edit: Also, it hates my date of birth. Guess "June 28" is wrong for you European people. :P

Cool. I'm a year and ten days older than you. :P

It's always nice to see somebody bother to put their photo up. Hell, it's nice to see somebody with a GOGWiki page, period. Nearly every time I click on someone's name, I find that they have no page.

Oh, on that note, you don't really need to post a link. Anybody with the greasemonkey script can see your page by clicking on your username.

Thanks for the tips i did not know that since i primarily use Opera but had to use firefox for using greasemonkey script. i also would love it if more people created a GOGWIKI page preferably with a picture since i like seeing fellow gamers like myself.
PS Cool picture man ;)

After a bit of a hiatus I got back to work on this and almost have a Chrome extension finished. If I get the chance I'll wrap it up tomorrow. I'm finding that extensions are a lot less restrictive than user scripts on Chrome. This extension is better than the Firefox script in a lot of ways, and is more portable, so I'll be using it as the base for the next version of the Firefox script as well.
