It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Karlallen: Because I'm an idiot, I logged in through Facebook. But left my username as Karl not Karlallen.

Any chance my account can be deleted so that I can try again?

Ubivis: I have renamed you, you should now access the wiki by your Nickname. Let me know, if something went wrong.
Still not working.

"Karlallen
Sorry, but no user named Karlallen has created a profile here yet. "

hmm... alright, I will delete your account and you can create a new :)

EDIT: Ah, no... this is correct, you have to create your Profile first :)

EDIT 2: And now I have set up a basic profile for you... when you run the script, it should update your profile page

Sorry - that message isn't clear, but it has nothing to do with your gogwiki account - in fact, you don't even need to have a gogwiki account. What "Sorry, but no user named Karlallen has created a profile here yet." means is that the script has not been run successfully while logged onto gog as Karlallen.

Have you installing the script and doing the process described in the first post? Give that a try and let me know if anything goes wrong.
Nice work; I've managed to add myself too!

yay, I'm on it! http://www.gogwiki.com/index.php?title=User:Emusan
Welcome aboard, nmillar, Skystrider and emusan!

It's been a while since I've worked on this system, but there are updates coming in the near future. Here are some of the improvements I have planned:

- Chrome and Opera integration, so you're not forced to user Firefox
- More tags: number of games owned/wished, GOG join date, reverse wishlist (list users by game instead of the other way around)
- Avoid switching your /myaccount/ page to list mode after every time you sync with the wiki.
- Better cache-control so you won't need to purge wiki pages to get them up-to-date anymore.

Just so that everyone is aware: if you find that your GOG username is locked to the wrong GOGWiki account then let me know and I can unlock it very easily.

Possibly a stupid question, but I see no mention of IE here.
Is this not intended to work with IE?

I'm not sure it's possible to get this to work for IE. Firefox, Chrome, Opera and Safari all provide a way to run user scripts, but I'm not aware of such a thing for any version of IE.

Maybe I should make a standalone program for this instead of trying to integrate it into every browser...

I'm not sure I'm doing things right. I've got this page...

http://www.gogwiki.com/index.php?title=User:ChaunceyK

...and GreaseMonkey made this page...

http://www.gogwiki.com/index.php?title=Special:GOGUser/ChaunceyK/games

...but something doesn't feel right about it. Any suggestions?

http://www.gogwiki.com/index.php?title=User:ChaunceyK is your own personal page that every wiki user gets. You can edit it to say whatever you want. You can also embed things like the list of games you own on GOG, your shelf, and your wishlist by using XML tags such as <gog-shelf user="ChaunceyK" />, <gog-list user="ChaunceyK" /> and <gog-wishlist user="ChaunceyK" />

http://www.gogwiki.com/index.php?title=Special:GOGUser/ChaunceyK/games is a link directly to a list of games you owned on GOG the last time you synced with the wiki. The games are listed in columns to save space (some of the long game names cause a bit of a mess when they wrap to the next line - I'll fix that up in the CSS sometime soon).

http://www.gogwiki.com/index.php?title=Special:GOGUser/ChaunceyK/shelf is a link directly to your shelf. Maybe this is what you were expecting to see? http://www.gogwiki.com/index.php?title=Special:GOGUser/ChaunceyK/wishlist should take you to your wishlist.
Those XML tags helped, thanks Monkey. I know nothing of XML. :-\
Minor update.

I've tidied up the word-wrapping on long game titles and added 2 new tags: <gog-shelf-count> and <gog-wishlist-count>. They work just like <gog-shelf> and friends, but render as the number of games you have in your shelf or wishlist.
Good work. That certainly makes things a lot easier. Not sure how the hell you learned to do stuff like this, but good work nonetheless. My gogwiki page looks better than ever, and the page size has been reduced by over 9,000 bytes. (no, seriously!)
Does not work for me. My page does not show anything:
