It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Wow... loaded it into Chrome in a matter of seconds. Well done. :)
Wow, you actually went ahead with the ol' GOG wiki then? I remember this when it was just an idea...

(Probably the last time I visited the forums before this recent spurt of activity of mine, in fact.)

Now if only people would edit it!

It doesn't need any kind of referrer. The plugin just tells the browser to visit gog.com like normal (except in the background instead of in a tab) and takes a peek at what games you have etc. You do need to be logged in with the Firefox Profile that you're currently using because that gog.com won't reveal anything about your account if you're not. It works this way because I decided that requiring you to be logged on is better than the alternative - making you concede your password,

Thanks. I'm quite proud of how the Chrome plugin turned out.

Add this to your page (you can remove any unwanted lines):

{{Userinfo
|name =
|image =
|birthday =
|realname =
|nationality =
}}
Apparently I can't update my profile page using either the Greasemonkey script in Firefox or the Addon for Chrome; keep getting the "username is locked" message despite being logged into the wiki ...
are you logged in with www.gogwiki.com or just gogwiki.com?

It seems that the www is important

Ubivis is right - the www is important. The plugins are all programmed to talk to www.gogwiki.com, which is technically the same thing as gogwiki.com but the server isn't set up to share cookies between those two versions of the domain. Go to www.gogwiki.com and log in there and it should work for you.

Yeah, that fixed it - finally able to tidy up my profile page! :)
Heck... Today I discovered that there is a GOG Wiki :-P
OK I installed Greasemonkey and restarted Firefox but I'm not betting a Greasemonkey button anywhere, it does appear in my list of add-ons though - is it still compatible with Firefox 7?
Cheers

*edit* nevermind - it seem that my Firefox is a bit screwed because it locks up hard everytime I click 'options' of any add-on but I've managed to get the GreaseMonkey add-on toolbar appearing now
Saying that though, the spell checker seems to have stopped working now...

Click on the Tools menu. It should be there.
