Ahh sorry thought they were still selling the physical cd and not the game as a digital download. Knowing novalogic if it has DRM its probably starforce.
Monolith, SCI/Eidos, and Toika.

Nha just downloads. The upside is that the game is actually cheaper than I estimated (still too much for an 11 year old game) but the downside is that the transaction isn't handled on-site and the place it takes you to doesn't have paypal.

Dave3d: Monolith, SCI/Eidos, and Toika.

Monolith and Troika are not publishers, they are developers.

cogadh: Activision, Atari and Sierra (yes, I know Sierra is technically Activision now). Considering they have dropped some of those Troika hints and those are the three publishers Troika has been involved with, they seem most likely (or least unlikely).

Aliasalpha: Troika DOES also mean 3 of a kind, thinking that way, we may only get one new publisher but fuck what a good one...

Ralackk: Delta Force 1 only has a CD key as DRM, it was way to old for any of the DRM crap we see today.

Yeah but that was the original release, surely the downloadable version would have something new to defend it from the billions of pirates just slavering to get their filthy thieving hands on it.

Sarcasm?

Just a bit yeah. I doubt they'd have any piracy if it was release drm free because most of the pirates I know are after instant gratification with the best graphics possible or the game just sucks.
They sure aren't getting 20 bucks for it though, I could probably get 2-3 copies for that on ebay and its not like they've done any compatibility work on it, just bundled the download with the latest patches
I wonder if Lionhead would ever get involved? I know they're owned by Microsoft, but I do wonder what freedom they have (probably none). Also Rag Doll Kung-Fu was released on Steam, so they're not strangers to digital distribution. Then again that was back in the day when they were independent. Ah balls, I give up; I could do this all freaking day.
From GOG Twitter account:
"Big publ. announce planned during GDC. Counting on journos to give us love! Email to arrange coverage early so you don't miss the news! -Tom"
I wonder how big this publisher really is.

This makes me think maybe there is something big to come, such as Lucasarts...
Just sent them a reply not too long ago trying to clarify the hugeness of the publisher.
However, they sent ME a reply as well, so I'll put both my reply and their response to my reply.
ME: @GOGcom Is this a big publisher that everybody knows about (i.e. LucasArts), or is this another Empire Interactive whom only a few know?
GOG: @bjwanlund We're very excited about the Empire deal, mind you, but I think it's safe to say the hinted-at publisher is "big"
Two words: Oh boy.
What's my guess to their GDC big publisher announce? The biggest holy grail of all, LucasArts!!!

Empire? Yeah, I guess it's okay. Not gonna' buy any of the games though.
I'm guessing/hoping EA. Because in terms of PC games, that would be the biggest of them all. Just think what they have:
Their own games - tons of quality stuff, from the early eighties and onwards.
Maxis
Bullfrog
Origin
Westwood
And probably more...

Damn, its still two weeks until GDC! Well, just to keep up my track record for all previous publisher teases:
Lucasarts! Lucasarts! C'mon Lucasarts!
I will be roflmfaololzomging if it turns out to be a double entendre for this, just hiding in plain sight.
Massive Entertainment maybe? They did Ground Control 1 & 2
