thursdays are announcements tuesdays are releases.
Usually. They've been playing kind of "fast and loose" with that lately (TopWare was announced on Tuesday).
Won't be Tuesday.

weren't there also releases on Tuesday though?
yeah I think thats when earth 2140 & jack orlando came out.
Also am I being woefully hopeful when I think of combining a new big publisher announcement with the sudden interview with one of the top bods at Bioware?

that's if they stick to the rules, which they probably won't.
Hey folks! I JUST today got my full copy of Windows Vista Home Premium, so I'll be watching this new publisher announce with far more gusto than before (and with a humongous supply of happy retro feelings).

While Bioware have made many great titles I don't think they actually own any publishing rights or IP to games they've made. Most of their older titles were published and owned by Interplay who sold most of the rights and IP when they almost went backrupt and most of the later titles and IP are also owned by others as well (Lucasarts, ATARI etc). Any remaining IP is now owned by EA as it bought the whole development house.
If you wanted to see more Bioware developed titles here, the best target would probably be ATARI as it now owns the rights to all BW (and black isle) games based on Forgotten realms and D&D system.

On their Twitter page it says, "Maybe some day we'll do an action-game promo for next week's new publisher! Lots of great stuff in there." My guess is it's ID. At least I hope so.
ID would be a great big YAWN for me. Although I respect their place in gaming history and the fact that they practically invented the FPS genre, none of their titles really interest me.
Although... I'm really only thinking about ID developed games, there are other games that they acted as publisher on that might interest me, like Heretic and HeXen.

Same here, there's plenty enough brainless shooters on GOG, we need more adventures or RPGs
