I was going to enter a coma when Ultima VII was put on here. Just that morning I was looking for the game all over. I registered because of Ultima VII

I totally bought the D&D stuff when that was on sale to get them all and at that price- that was instant buy.

I remember spending hours playing these great games on my brothers 1200 so when I saw them here whoop-whoop!...just haven't got round to getting Alien Breed + Tower Assault, Superfrog and Worms United yet but hope to soon.

When I joined all the things I was interested in was already here. They've since added Thief 1 and 2 but the only exposure I had was the fourth.

When I found out that GOG had The Pandora Directive. I think it might have been at the height of my revision period and I was completely broke, so got my girlfriend to buy it for me and spent the next 24h in the world of Tex Murphy.

Abandonware is not a legal term. It basically means that the developers/publishers have stopped supporting & selling the game in question. It is still protected under the same laws as a brand new release.

Most games on this site were abandonware before they appeared here.
