That means we get more than 20 Activision games.
It's not Eidos.

Reading the article, LucasArts could be the next deal.

While the top games on the list are great, do keep in mind, though, that they are NOT necessarily what customers want to buy.
A lot of people simply like voting for games that they already own out of nostalgia but wouldn't buy it again. Some others could also be skewed from fan sites. For e.g. if I'm a fanboy of game X and want it to be #1, I could go to 10 fan sites of game X and say "Hey dudez there's a poll plz vote". You'd be surprised at what goes on.

I simply wanted to point out which publisher(s) we have a chance getting next.
Some people who voted won't buy that game, some people who didn't vote will buy it.

It does look like a very exciting year ahead. The talk of expanded price points is a bit ominous it's going to be difficult to stop publishers such as Ubi just going for the highest every time (HOMM $9.99). Although I am impressed that the new Activision games went straight in at $5.99.
We shall see all in time.

Bear in mind that the expanded price points included both a lower and a higher prices point and were mentioned along with game packages. That will very likely allow for both a greater variety of games and a greater value for the dollar. Personally I feel that a $12.99 or $13.99 price point would fit nicely for some game packages, such as a Quest series package, but not necessarily for any single game. Being able to offer publishers a pricing option like that will go a long way towards getting some of those games we really want, don't really hurt the wallet all that much and could give us a really great deal in the end.

Just as an FYI: D&D games are in a legal quagmire at the moment, with Planescape Torment at the centre. The only way you're going to get it is via the dubiously legal re-released boxed copy. Atari have the rights to all but Planescape but they're being sued for those rights by WotC. So we can rule out D&D altogether even if Atari trundle along.

We can rule it out altogether... at least until the legal battles are settled. Once that happens, the floodgates of D&D goodness could be opened up on GOG.

I'd definitely like to see that. Even if I have every major D&D title anyway. It would be very good for GOG and anything that makes GOG more popular is definitely a good thing.
In the meantime, we're almost certainly looking at either EA or Lucasarts up next. Either would certainly get some cash out of me, but I don't think there's any sense in playing down the difference EA would make here.
