So I was pretty happy with Space Colony because it's nothing like I've played before and tried Startopia (thinking it similar) and pleasantly surprised that Startopia is different still and it's own game as well.

I was considering Silent Storm from the promo but realized that it's Hellderado and Freedom Force all over again.

I have Afterlight and the other games in the promo are more (or less) RTS's.

So what other games here on GOG stand as their own with unique game play that hasn't been copy/pasted very much (if at alll)?
Definitely King of Dragon Pass. I wish more games had copied it, because it's awesome. x)
FTL. Definitely FTL. It's inspired by roguelikes, but there's nothing quite like it.
Off the top of my head:

-Sacrifice(bet you didn't see that one coming)
-Giants
-Messiah
-Postal 2
-King of Dragon Pass(one of the best surprises I've had on GOG)
-Outcast

I don't think I heard your thoughts on this one before, glad you liked it. :)

One of the best games I've ever played :D When I first got it, I didn't play anything else for about 5 days. That's a lot for me, because I usually alternate between 4-6 games at any time.

This is good but falls into the shooter category. It's a bit more sandboxed than you're standard shooter however.

But yeah, King of Dragon Pass and FTL are pretty good examples.

I'm looking for these types of game from anywhere in general (not necessarily just GOG).

Looking at what I've currently got installed I can probably add

Defender's Quest (it's not strictly just Tower Defense)
PE-2 (GamersGate) (only one other game like it on the Nintendo DS)
A Valley without Wind

You asked for original. There's no other game where you can piss on people, or use cats as silencers, or kill people with a boomerang machete, or.... You get the point :P
From the current sale, I'd spotlight "Perimeter". Yeah it's an RTS, but it feels nothing like any other RTS I've played. At first this is actually a bit of a handicap - the game doesn't explain its mechanics very well, so you'll try to fall back on your tried-and-true RTS skills, only to get frustrated when they don't work. But once I finally figured out what the game wanted from me, I found it to be a very fresh experience.
Die by the sword... I've never seen anything else like it's combat mechanic.

A few that catch my attention:

Rainbow Six is magnificent in the way it allows you to plan and execute your team strategy. Very different.

Thief's sneaking system is almost unparalleled. Finding and staying in the shadows is great fun.

And we probably never will again :'(
I'd mention Hostile Waters: Antaeus Rising, but sadly that's not on GOG anymore.

Also Dungeon Keeper 1+2. Yes, of course #2 is the same concept as #1, but still. And Evil Genius did copy the concept to some degree, but it's still a very different game.
Perimeter
Stronghold: Crusader

FantasyNightmare: Stronghold: Crusader
I keep thinking this is an RTS but might pick up 3 once I get a new PC - Apparently the Space Colony guys did this so it might be worth checking out.
