Well, no one ever forgets this Valentine's day for sure! It's THE happy ending, with SS2 finally comes to GOG. So it seems that more cupid arrows are flying to get us! :)
Ooh, a special sale on the same day they release SS2. I have a feeling tomorrow will be a profitable day for GOG. ;)
I know its still new here, but Leisure Suit Larry would fit in with a Valentine's Day promo.
If somone on here buys a game for their significant other for V Day and DOESN'T spend the night sleeping outside then I WANT TO HEAR ABOUT IT! PLEASE!!!!

Just what I was thinking. But I hope there's not too many games on sale or this site will run me dry.

You're only interested in the dirty details?

I don't have a life of my own, I need to live vicariously through you people.

Your stereotypes are outdated. ;) I regularly buy my significant other games as presents (and vice versa). Not for Valentine's day though - Valentine's is this odd American pseudo-holiday that I can't relate to, I don't need a specific date to buy something for my partner. Well, last year I _did_ buy her a pack of raw chicken hearts from the supermarket. She _loves_ fried chicken hearts. She did actually find that romantic (instead of, well, "weird"), which may be part of the reason why I love her so much. :)

HAHAHA
They aren't outdated, you said it yourself, "Not for Valentine's day though...". I can't speak for Europe but if a guy in this country gets his girlfriend or wife a game...let me rephrase that...if 99% of the guys in this country get their girlfriend or wife or game for Valentines Day then they are going to be sleeping outside or at the bottom of the pool. I'm not saying that like it's a bad thing. I'd give anything for a girlfriend. Not my soon to be copy of System Shock 2, but anything else. Accept my cat. I'd give anything but my soon to be copy of SS2 and my cat. And my autographed "Slaughterhouse 5". I'd give anything but my...and so it goes.

Eh, I don't think giving a game would be so bad. But better to back it up with something else like flowers, dinner, whatever just to be on the safe side.

Doesn't happen to me, I married a born again gamer ;) (her only gaming before me was the ocassional double dash game now she has almost as many games as I do...) tomorrow is our 7th anniversary of getting together... she's getting games :P

Does she have a sister?

EDIT: If that came off as tasteless I didn't mean it to. If I could find a girl who liked games I'd never have the desire to complain about anything ever again.
