VideoGamer.com: GOG is almost at the 100 game milestone. Is that game going to be something special?
LK: Yes, the 100 game milestone is just around the corner and we have something special planned for it. Can't say what it is – I don’t want to spoil the surprise, but I'm sure everyone will be happy about it. And I really mean EVERYONE :)

i may pee my pants in excitement
what could it beeee?!
Free games for everybody!
Gah, I why do you torment us like this - there's always something to look forward to with you guys, you never give us a break! :-)
I just hope it's a huge website upgrade.

Either this, or GOG starts making cardboard game boxes

I would come.
All over the place.
I'll try to avoid the boxes, though.
do you think "something special planned for IT" means the game itself or an extraneous surprise? the question was referring specifically to the game, but the answer could be ambiguous...
The milestone is next week if GOG sticks to their usual release schedule of two games or more per week. Maybe they have a surprise game coming up.
Perhaps some more freeware games packed and tested by GOG? That would be nice too ;)
But my guess would be on just making the 100th game free for all current GOG subscribers or something to that effect.

I rather have GOG announce partnership with ATARI and announced games be BG1&2 and PS:T than a free game of my choosing.
well for free games there are those aprogee games that are now classed as freeware

Maybe Commander Keen ? ;)
Haloween Harry aka Alien Carnage was already released as freeware and its available on the 3D Realms site as freeware along with some other classics already released for free.
It'll probably be a removal of rep. HAHAHA
