The big day is approaching and everyone is counting hours, minutes and seconds when the GOG staff members will appear in the spotlight! Believe us, we're all excited about this as well, but first things first. Let us give you some details, so everyone knows who, what, where and when.

Who? All of you, our dear users, are invited to watch the live streaming of the CDP Days 2011 Spring Conference.
What? The live streaming will include presentations by CD Projekt RED with their awesome game The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, and GOG.com revealing some cool stuff. Both presentations will be in English.
Where? You'll be able to watch both presentations on GOG.com. On Thursday we'll put up a news post with a live stream video window embedded in it for your convenience.
When? The live streaming of CD Projekt RED presentation will start on Thursday, April 14 at 12:00 p.m. EST (that's 4:00 p.m. GMT - that's 9:00 a.m. Los Angeles time, 12:00 p.m. New York, 5:00 p.m. London time or 6:00 p.m. Warsaw time). GOG will hit the stage an hour later at 1:00 p.m. EST (5:00 p.m. GMT).

You may also notice some teaser spots on the front page. These will change during the next three days, so feel free to speculate what's it all about :). See you on Thursday!
Oh, Optimus is changing it's name?
I hope it's not connected to the new publisher here in any way.

I popped a few paragraphs into Google Translate seems they are re-branding CD Projekt or is Google fail again?
I must say that this is just about the most civil forum that I've ever read. Seriously, GOG.com must have the best fans in the world. Nary a troll or slur in sight.

You guys rock.
"What game made you fear the dark?"

Honestly, the only game I've played that fits in this category is Amnesia: The Dark Descent, and for some reason, I really doubt that that is going to be released by GOG any time soon.
Has it ocurred to you guys that there may be more than one new publisher coming?
After looking at all of the "hints" on the main page, my guess would be they have either signed a deal with EA, Atari, or both.

It's been talked about, but nothing other than Outlaws really screams it to me and I do think Road Rash is an acceptable alternative there.

It could be, you never know.

Yes, about once every six pages.

That explains it, too much space between them and I didn't feel like reading everything =P

The thing is, this article is vague as hell. The title says name change, then we get some history, and a quote:
"- Marka CD Projekt jest bardzo rozpoznawalna i posiada renomę w branży elektronicznej rozrywki w Polsce i na świecie. CD Projekt od 17 lat rozwija z sukcesem biznes pod własnym szyldem i uznaliśmy, że zmiana nazwy wpłynie pozytywnie na dalsze plany rozwojowe Spółki. Chcemy też w ten sposób podkreślić nowy wizerunek Spółki związany ze zmianą profilu działalności – tłumaczy Adam Kiciński, Prezes Optimus S.A."

The CD Projekt brand is very recognizable and is famous in the electronic entertainment market in Poland and worldwide. For 17 years, CDP successfully expanded it's business under it's own name, and we've decided that a change of name would be positive for the future growth plans of the Company. We want to stress out that the new image of the Company is ralated to the change of the 'activity profile'.

And this is the most "to the point" part of the article.
Then there's something about a general meeting of the shareholders in Q3, where they'll vote.

Perhaps it's more about Optimus itself, and the "disappearance of Optimus from the Share Market".
I just realised - for those who wanted to see some of the older hints, you can scroll through them all on the homepage.

D'oh!

Oh, and by the way. My money is on The Witcher + others. Monsters afraid of you? The timing of it all. It's gotta be. And I'll probably buy it a fourth time.

Ps. Please don't expect EA. Not gonna happen and you'll only be disappointed.
We in Europe have DST, so it will be at 7 p.m. here.

Anyway, 2 hours and half!
We our, our clocks went forward last month,
