The big day is approaching and everyone is counting hours, minutes and seconds when the GOG staff members will appear in the spotlight! Believe us, we're all excited about this as well, but first things first. Let us give you some details, so everyone knows who, what, where and when.

Who? All of you, our dear users, are invited to watch the live streaming of the CDP Days 2011 Spring Conference.
What? The live streaming will include presentations by CD Projekt RED with their awesome game The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, and GOG.com revealing some cool stuff. Both presentations will be in English.
Where? You'll be able to watch both presentations on GOG.com. On Thursday we'll put up a news post with a live stream video window embedded in it for your convenience.
When? The live streaming of CD Projekt RED presentation will start on Thursday, April 14 at 12:00 p.m. EST (that's 4:00 p.m. GMT - that's 9:00 a.m. Los Angeles time, 12:00 p.m. New York, 5:00 p.m. London time or 6:00 p.m. Warsaw time). GOG will hit the stage an hour later at 1:00 p.m. EST (5:00 p.m. GMT).

You may also notice some teaser spots on the front page. These will change during the next three days, so feel free to speculate what's it all about :). See you on Thursday!

dwbridges: I am beginning to think there has to be more than one publisher involved in today's announcement. The clues just seem to be too widely varied.
Quite likely. Sadly, I don't think LucasArts is involved. :( These three seem to point towards more games published by Atari Europe / Infogrames but I have no idea about the rest:

What game made you ride with the outlaws? - Desperados.
What game made monsters fear you? - The Witcher. (Not sure if I believe that though.)
What game made you fear the dark? - Alone in the Dark or Heart of Darkness.

I don't think Grim Fandango actually took place in the underworld...
What game made monsters fear you? hmmm ... Dungeon Keeper maybe?

Be there bullfroggery afoot??

And that would be perfect :D
I bet it's EA. With EA protecting Ultima IV and releasing Alice Madness Returns (American Mcgee's Alice !)

Maybe not...

Yeah I think bullfrog produced it and ea sold it? I forget tbh. summin like that anyway. I just remember the bullfrog logo on the swinging tavern sign on the awesome opening cinematic.

Be a good game to get on here but I dunno. the more i think about it I get the feeling the announcements gonna be something else.
Why do I think most of them are describing the Ultima series?

The point is that Bullfrog has been bought & closed by EA... so if we would see Bullfrog titles then also other EA games aswell.

Wishful thinking?

Checked Alice on Mobygames. While the colour-sheme fits perfectly, the font style is different. The same goes to Vampire Bloodlines - same colour sheme, but a different font. The only thing that is sure for me is Dungeon Keeper (font colour, text).

In the case of Dungeon Keeper, it would also be EA :)

Well, the clues are indeed pretty broad and loose, so they can be applied to many many games. Ultima, even though personally I highly doubt it, can even pass for the description "What game made you dream of the stars?" :) I mean, some early Ultima titles (1, 2, whatever - can't remember...) featured some form of space travel if I recall correctly.
I wish I had made screenshots of the previous backgrounds - after all most of the words are pretty generic. I think one will be EA (remember they have said publishers). I just don't see how the "monsters fear you" font cannot be Dungeon Keeper.

The Ultima: Worlds of Adventure series.
I never played those though.
