The big day is approaching and everyone is counting hours, minutes and seconds when the GOG staff members will appear in the spotlight! Believe us, we're all excited about this as well, but first things first. Let us give you some details, so everyone knows who, what, where and when.

Who? All of you, our dear users, are invited to watch the live streaming of the CDP Days 2011 Spring Conference.
What? The live streaming will include presentations by CD Projekt RED with their awesome game The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, and GOG.com revealing some cool stuff. Both presentations will be in English.
Where? You'll be able to watch both presentations on GOG.com. On Thursday we'll put up a news post with a live stream video window embedded in it for your convenience.
When? The live streaming of CD Projekt RED presentation will start on Thursday, April 14 at 12:00 p.m. EST (that's 4:00 p.m. GMT - that's 9:00 a.m. Los Angeles time, 12:00 p.m. New York, 5:00 p.m. London time or 6:00 p.m. Warsaw time). GOG will hit the stage an hour later at 1:00 p.m. EST (5:00 p.m. GMT).

You may also notice some teaser spots on the front page. These will change during the next three days, so feel free to speculate what's it all about :). See you on Thursday!
Only half a day left........I wonder what it'll be?
One thing's for sure - Thief is coming to GOG and I think it's long overdue - they teased us with that office video few months ago.

I think Delixe has proven it with the screenshot.

You play the classic version ever? Totally different game.....in some ways. The gold edition added new levels, yes, but it also changed others and also have you played on all difficulties? Each difficulty changes not only the objectives but also sometimes the key item locations in game among other things.
I am excite
The font used in the hero teaser is "Neue Muenchner Fraktur" and it was created in 2010 so it wasn't used in any old game. http://cg.scs.carleton.ca/~luc/RalphMUnger--NeueMuenchnerFraktur-2010.gif

StingingVelvet: Am I insane or does it say feel LIFE a hero?
Nope thats a good point, either "Life" or "Lite".

Either way it's a typo methinks. Never mind, its not too swerious.

Anyway, I'm hoping for a few new titles Like:-

The underworld series
Dungeon Keeper
Strife
Requiem
( if you have played either of those games,Strife & Requiem, notice how the main plot is the same ?)
Captive
Dungeon Keeper.
The SSI series of 3d RPgs ( Strahds Posession, Menzoberranzan etc ) not the ropey monotone 2d ones.

Strife is freeware, actually.

Excellent series, I just bought it from play.com for £3.99 for all 3 games, I'm playing through Thief Gold on Hard at the moment, I refuse to do it on Expert as I always like the option to kill people if they irritate me too much. Purely a personal thing. If a guard calls me "taffer" one too many times and keeps catching me I like to turn 'em into plant fertiliser.

Thief is a terrific series, with a very rich and involving game world. HD remakes would be nice, getting Thief to run on XP without crashing ( change cpu affinity) and at 1920x1200 ( install widescreen patch) was a bit fiddly. But it's worth it.

Will have to disagree.
Yipee! I loved the Quest for Glory series. I hope you are right.

xaemar: What game made you feel like a hero ?

jcmorris: Has to be Quest for Glory Hero's Quest. I enjoyed that game back in it's day
