The big day is approaching and everyone is counting hours, minutes and seconds when the GOG staff members will appear in the spotlight! Believe us, we're all excited about this as well, but first things first. Let us give you some details, so everyone knows who, what, where and when.

Who? All of you, our dear users, are invited to watch the live streaming of the CDP Days 2011 Spring Conference.
What? The live streaming will include presentations by CD Projekt RED with their awesome game The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, and GOG.com revealing some cool stuff. Both presentations will be in English.
Where? You'll be able to watch both presentations on GOG.com. On Thursday we'll put up a news post with a live stream video window embedded in it for your convenience.
When? The live streaming of CD Projekt RED presentation will start on Thursday, April 14 at 12:00 p.m. EST (that's 4:00 p.m. GMT - that's 9:00 a.m. Los Angeles time, 12:00 p.m. New York, 5:00 p.m. London time or 6:00 p.m. Warsaw time). GOG will hit the stage an hour later at 1:00 p.m. EST (5:00 p.m. GMT).

You may also notice some teaser spots on the front page. These will change during the next three days, so feel free to speculate what's it all about :). See you on Thursday!

Since we're getting a new publisher, I don't think Homeworld is it. Unless the rights were sold off.

Could be X. The first game was apparently published by THQ, a fairly large publisher that's not already on GOG.

Fonts are kind of similar too: http://www.mobygames.com/game-group/x-beyond-the-frontier-universe
If it is indeed Alpha Centauri, then I'd like to be the first to welcome Firaxis / EA to GOG! :)

I would welcome this series too. They all appear to me to basically be Eve Offline (for those of us interested in the space flight and economy sim without all the Goon BS ;) )
Hmmm, after I saw that Homeworld cover, I guess it may be the answer, if it's not a new publisher.

And in this post

http://www.gog.com/en/forum/general/where_the_hell_is_tuesdays_new_game/post622

TheEnigmaticT said it's new wave of games, not new publisher. I assumed earlier it's a new publisher, because there was one signed on 01.04.2011, but not revealed yet. But I think it may not be the time. I'd be happy for all the new games from Sierra/Atari/Activision/Ubisoft (they still have tons of unreleased gogs), but for one moment I was really excited we'll get Civilization.
I can only hope that it's Homeworld.
A masterpiece of a game, it really made me dream of the stars.
What could it be?

Home World - Maybe

Outpost - Maybe

StarCon - Only one worth getting is already free

System Shock - Another possibilty

Asteroids or Space Invaders - Must be the next GOG release

They all say "You don't want to be THAT guy" but the truth of it is that many frequenters of GoG.com wouldn't mind it at all - just to be in the inside :p

Jepulorrae: Elite or The Dig?
The Dig is an execptional game with an even better sound track. My CD runs very well under dosbox on Windows 7. I could easily see this being one of the releases. But would this mean more LucasArts games to come????

mmmhmm... I LOVED "The Dig" when it first came out. Played the heck out of it until I finally finished it. There were some fun puzzles in it.
My hope is that its either EA or Lucas Arts. I definitely welcome either of them, a ton of classics on both sides id love to get my hands on.
I'm pretty sure the minions in Dungeon Keeper dreamt of stars... :D :D :D

then I slapped them some more to stop dreaming and start working! :D
serious guess: Star Control 1+2
silly guess: Resident Evil
Starlancer which means Microsoft which means Age of Empires and Crimson Skies! ^_^

Possibly even the original Halo :O
