The big day is approaching and everyone is counting hours, minutes and seconds when the GOG staff members will appear in the spotlight! Believe us, we're all excited about this as well, but first things first. Let us give you some details, so everyone knows who, what, where and when.

Who? All of you, our dear users, are invited to watch the live streaming of the CDP Days 2011 Spring Conference.
What? The live streaming will include presentations by CD Projekt RED with their awesome game The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, and GOG.com revealing some cool stuff. Both presentations will be in English.
Where? You'll be able to watch both presentations on GOG.com. On Thursday we'll put up a news post with a live stream video window embedded in it for your convenience.
When? The live streaming of CD Projekt RED presentation will start on Thursday, April 14 at 12:00 p.m. EST (that's 4:00 p.m. GMT - that's 9:00 a.m. Los Angeles time, 12:00 p.m. New York, 5:00 p.m. London time or 6:00 p.m. Warsaw time). GOG will hit the stage an hour later at 1:00 p.m. EST (5:00 p.m. GMT).

You may also notice some teaser spots on the front page. These will change during the next three days, so feel free to speculate what's it all about :). See you on Thursday!

I guess Elite would be top my list there.

UFO series is possible I guess

Star Control 2 ... awesome, but free...

Yeah, nightmares ;-)

The picture looks like a glowing planet, but I'm completely clueless. Alpha Centauri would be cool, because that hopefully means the Civ series. Nah, I don't believe it, this colours and the text sounds more like a space exploration game.

System Shock, Wing Commander and RockSTAR games are the first things that pop into mind.

Nothing Eidos-y really comes to mind.

Galimatias: Watch the conference...
Easy for YOU to say... unfortunately for me my manager will be on his first day back in the office after a conference and that probably means lots of meeting and syncing... Not highly likely I will be able to watch it or focus on it if I am - but we'll see.

I don't know the answer. I gues it could be Wing Commander (EA), but for me (although I never really cared for sci-fi games wehn I was young) it was X-Winfg (LucasArts).

Anyway, if there's no hidden meaning in this line, it won't be Square Enix, because I can't recall their game (or Eidos) that would made someone dream of the stars.

If I were to bet on what new publisher it is, I'd say it's EA, finally.

While I am pretty certain it wont be Homeworld I would love for it to be so! And... perhaps System Shock, - never played it or heard of it before people swooned over it here so perhaps I need to see it :)

I hope not. Not because I have something against them, but EA or LucasArts have many games that belong here, and Rockstar much less.

Some Star Trek game maybe?

Not my favorites but I don't see it mentioned.

I'd like to see Wing Commander or Freelancer here. Especially Freelancer since it's a pain to get it working properly.
