The big day is approaching and everyone is counting hours, minutes and seconds when the GOG staff members will appear in the spotlight! Believe us, we're all excited about this as well, but first things first. Let us give you some details, so everyone knows who, what, where and when.

Who? All of you, our dear users, are invited to watch the live streaming of the CDP Days 2011 Spring Conference.
What? The live streaming will include presentations by CD Projekt RED with their awesome game The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, and GOG.com revealing some cool stuff. Both presentations will be in English.
Where? You'll be able to watch both presentations on GOG.com. On Thursday we'll put up a news post with a live stream video window embedded in it for your convenience.
When? The live streaming of CD Projekt RED presentation will start on Thursday, April 14 at 12:00 p.m. EST (that's 4:00 p.m. GMT - that's 9:00 a.m. Los Angeles time, 12:00 p.m. New York, 5:00 p.m. London time or 6:00 p.m. Warsaw time). GOG will hit the stage an hour later at 1:00 p.m. EST (5:00 p.m. GMT).

You may also notice some teaser spots on the front page. These will change during the next three days, so feel free to speculate what's it all about :). See you on Thursday!

Lone3wolf: Here's a cold shower for you :

what if they withhold their Star Wars titles...? (Assuming it really is LA being announced)
Then that would be a bunch of sales that they'd lose my friend.
'Dream about the Stars' has got to refer to the Star Wars games, surely?

Velvetmeds: sad panda. don't like lucas arts games
avatar
Eclipse: so you don't like good games?

lucas arts did very different stuff, from first person shooters to adventure games, to space simulators, RPGs and so on. You don't like any of these genres? :\

Dark Forces 1 and 2 are still today two of the best fps games EVER.
And KOTOR is considered one of the best crpg ever made too.
I do...but not theirs.

yeah...because nobody would buy them down the road when they come out right? :0 but people would be more apt to buy other titles if Star Wars isn't available yet.

IF it is Lucas Arts somehow...I think they'll start with The Dig (stars) and Full Throttle (outlaws). They sell some of those and then the excitement for the big guns goes rampant

The western one sounds like Desperados: Wanted Dead or Alive which is basically Commandos in a western setting. I think it was by Atari.
on the off-shoot that it is Origin (which I doubt)...

Martian Dreams (dream about stars)

Autoduel (outlaws)

???

Actually, the outlaws reference is probably the LucasArts game Outlaws, not Full Throttle.
If it's indeed LucasArts, the good thing is that they probably fully secured right to all their games, so there should be a really nice stream of games coming.

But, as I said - outlaws is too obvious, and you forget these guys are from Poland, and we have twisted ideas. So they may just create at the end a main page block that says "We would like to know that, but for now, we'll bring you EA".

So, don't believe in any thing they tell us, they have twisted minds, and they like pranks.
While I am a SW-fan, withholding SW titles makes this idea not the least less interesting... Monkey Island, Grim Fandango, Loom, and so many many more... *here's hoping!!!*
If that were the case, then why "ride". You never ride a horse in that game if I remember....and it's too obvious of a clue to just throw the name of the title in it. The Gog crew are a tad more creative than that!

cangelo:
You can't take GOG's hints so literally, they are usually a bit more obscure than that.
avatar
Velvetmeds: It's unlikely but i sooo wish it were SSI (but they don't exist now right?)
SSi is on GOG already, we have Panzer general II for example. But sadly we don´t have many awesome games from them (Chaos Gate, Gold box series, People´s general...)
So the "obscure" hint for announcing the game "Outlaws" is "what game made you ride with outlaws"? Is that obscure?
