The big day is approaching and everyone is counting hours, minutes and seconds when the GOG staff members will appear in the spotlight! Believe us, we're all excited about this as well, but first things first. Let us give you some details, so everyone knows who, what, where and when.

Who? All of you, our dear users, are invited to watch the live streaming of the CDP Days 2011 Spring Conference.
What? The live streaming will include presentations by CD Projekt RED with their awesome game The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, and GOG.com revealing some cool stuff. Both presentations will be in English.
Where? You'll be able to watch both presentations on GOG.com. On Thursday we'll put up a news post with a live stream video window embedded in it for your convenience.
When? The live streaming of CD Projekt RED presentation will start on Thursday, April 14 at 12:00 p.m. EST (that's 4:00 p.m. GMT - that's 9:00 a.m. Los Angeles time, 12:00 p.m. New York, 5:00 p.m. London time or 6:00 p.m. Warsaw time). GOG will hit the stage an hour later at 1:00 p.m. EST (5:00 p.m. GMT).

You may also notice some teaser spots on the front page. These will change during the next three days, so feel free to speculate what's it all about :). See you on Thursday!

cangelo: No love for Alien Legacy? It was owned by Sierra who is already on board with GOG...great game by the way!
The micro management got a bit tedious and the growths were relentless, but nevertheless: A great game :-)

ChristopherRobin: System Shock 1 and or 2 would be instant buy's for me so count me among the hopeful.
Ooh, yes. There have been several "Portable", WinXP Compatible and other patches to improve compatibility.
None of them worked perfectly, so I expect that a lot of tinkering will be needed. to bring it on a level suitable for re-release.
The grand prize for me would be the release of the source code of the Dark Engine, so that it might be ported and modernized on the way to run on any platform that is powerful enough to support it...
The Open Dark Engine, http://sourceforge.net/projects/opde/ seems to agree.on that.

karnak1: Yes, I know that EA is quite the "ultimate frontier". But this would be too much of an hype for any other developer.
The thing is... It's WAY too little for this one ;P.

Galimatias: Watch the conference...
Will they address The Witcher 2 not supporting 16:10 monitors/resolutions?

Found out about that in another thread.

Main page's banner now says "What game made you ride with the Outlaws?"

Well that's Lucasarts then o_O

Stars = Star Wars
Outlaws = Outlaws derp.

Remember last time when it was Activision we dismissed the bloody obvious that it couldn't be Activision. This time we should just not read into things. I think it is Lucasarts at long last.
Holy Crap I think it's going to be Lucasarts. They have a game called Outlaws! I'm so excited! It needs to be Thursday now!
Or it could be a double-bluff, with a really convoluted, torturous chain of logic that leads somewhere else entirely :P

Edit : For example, many people call their spouse's parents, "the Outlaws", as opposed to the normal "x-in-law" :D

The minute I saw that, I was like "HAH! I KNEW IT!"

Yep, it be LucasArts, of course.

I told you guys I thought the next hint might be a bit more specific!

That would be EXTREMELY disappointing, just FYI.

BJ
My guess is these banners are referring to Lucas Arts games The Dig (or maybe Dark Forces) and Outlaws. Lets see if the next one fits with another of their old titles.
