We're happy that you're enjoying our new GOGmix feature, as can be seen by the sheer gargantuan number of them. We would like share with you some of our thoughts and favorites.

<a href=""http://www.gog.com/en/mix></a>When we created this feature, we wanted to encourage people to use their creativity muscle and do their best to stand our from the crowd. Making a list of memorable RPGs is all fine and good, but the things that really make a GOGmix shine lie in the very first steps of creating one.
A good idea is a must. A clever, cunning or otherwise cool title is a welcome bonus. A lack of descriptions just makes you look lazy. Most importantly, though, the best GOGmix is a truly unique one.
Take a look at what we're talking about:

Games your mom wouldn't let you play if she ever knew,
Games You Might Miss But Shouldn't,
Learn how to sell your own mother in four easy steps,
Unique Atmosphere and Original Gameplay,
Warning: may be perfect substitute for morphine.

We want to make this kind of spotlight a regular or semi-regular feature on our site, so we encourage you to do your best in order to see your GOGmix make it into the next one!
I had some trouble putting mine up because the character limit seemed at odds without how many characters I actually put into the descriptions. I think like some others have said that it counts hidden characters. The count needs to be shifted to reflect this a bit, since an apostrophe would then take up way too much space, but is nice to help keep things concise.

I did get it posted eventually once I cut out what I believe were the offending characters, but it'd be cool if some change was made later on. [misunderstanding about image size limits]

Myxia: Also, it seems the attached image size limit is significantly lower than 2MB...
2MB per post, 500KB per image, if I remember correctly.

OK, I guess I was confused by the limit statement. Good call.

That Messiah description is a bit disturbing... but the title says it all I guess >:]

While these games don't cheese in them, they are still extremely fun.
mine deserves a spotlight

Mine is simple, Monolith's shooters. Now, I just need GOG to bring No One Lives Forever and its sequel to the service, and I can expand. :D

My list of articles, interviews, hidden gems retrospectives etc. that appeared on GOG:
here
I've made [url=http://www.gog.com/en/mix/make_adam_smith_proud_economic_trading_games]two mixes. I feel I'm a bit overadvertising them by posting them both here and michaelleung's thread, thogh.

Anyway, I was wondering... maybe once the staff will go through all the GOGMixes made up to that point, choose a "best of the best" and make a promo featuring the games from that mix? That would be cool, I think :-).
