I have it installed and have played it a few times, but truth be told, I've never bothered to delve deeply into it. I have zero extra gear other than the ones they start with and to this day I still don't know how to change character once I've died.
Maybe I should RTFM before playing with you guys.

I love the game, it's the only multiplayer game that I actually play so count me in! With that said, I am pretty horrible at it.

I play TF2 quite a bit and I'm up for it as long as the ping isn't too bad from California. What map(s) did you have in mind? I'm mostly a 2Fort man myself. Demo or spy are my usual choices.
I had the Orange Box for months before I ever fired up TF2. Now it is by far the game I have logged the most hours on, of all time. You're missing out on the best part of the Orange Box in my opinion.
