It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Just bought a dingoo a320 and it's on it's way
Check it out if you get the same giddy feeling i get when you see all your old games on shiny new hardware(like i get every time i log in to GOG)
Holy cow, that site is slooooooow!
From what I can see of it (not a lot, and other sites don't have much info either), it seems like a simplified version of a GP2X. All in all, I'd much rather have a Pandora. I already have a GP2X F200.

Yeah, well my wallet disagrees with shelling out money for something that I'll have to ship to China if anything goes wrong with it :-/
If it ran windows mobile or maybe a build of linux I'd be interested in one

Ooh that looks like "teh secks"! Shall have to keep an eye on that for when I'm a rich networking professional with sod all to do
I would totally buy a pandora, but until then the GP2X is still king.

Well, afaik production of the GP2X has stopped, so this might be a good time to look for a replacement. Also, the Pandora was designed to be the replacement for the GP2X, with input from the GP2X forums.
I love my GP2X and have never regretted buying it, but there are some things about it that really suck. The Pandora should fix some of those things.

Not quite yet. Here's what I know, which is the latest newsletter I got from them:
Hello everyone, Craig here,
First the good news, if you want a Pandora you can now order one from the first batch - but you will have to be quick.
Second, more good news, we have now posted several videos of Pandora prototypes in action.
Demo of the 3D hardware:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wnr4HCIoFlk
Prototype unit (note the keys will be black and the case smooth in the final unit):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6MaIQYHd23A
GUI, we have various GUI demos, the Pandora can run whichever you prefer:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nis0OjKmGGY (Full desktop)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TfE2vSk3Hbc (compact matchbox style)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6BI9c6Mna_k (Retro style)
There are also dozens of videos of emulators/firefox/applications/ubuntu on youtube, we are of course still optimising the software like crazy, those videos were taken with just 128MB of RAM, the final Pandora has 256MB - this beast is going to be seriously fast.
The Pandora is still $330 for first batch orders, these remaining units are available on a first come first served basis.
We expect to start the final mass production in April so you need to order within the next 2 weeks. There won't be another batch for several months.
You can order via a bank transfer (We have US$ and UK accounts), a Cheque/Check, money order or via tranzfers.com (you can use a credit card here). Please contact us so we can help you choose the best option and answer any questions you may have.
If you would like to place an order please email openpandorasales@gmail.com or call us on +44 (0)191 243 2253 10am-4pm GMT.
The maximum order is 2 units per customer. It is also possible to order spare batteries, cases and adaptors.
The project relies on your support so you can also donate to the development fund which goes to developers porting and making open source games and applications.
If you have any general questions you can email:

Thanks,
Craig & The entire Pandora Team.
You know, my birthday is on the 26th, if you guys all chipped in...
This pandora seems like a very awesome, powerful handheld console. I read that it can run a slightly modified doom3!! The only thing that puts me off of it its the price. Kinda expensive at 330$. It costs like a normal laptop. : D
by the way, anyone know when Gamepark will release the Wiz console?
