Hi there!

We've been included in the poll for the weekly HIVE FIVE feature on Lifehacker, by the site's editor. Thanks to our supporters' votes we're currently way ahead of the competition (yes, including Steam) and we might have a shot at actually winning this thing, which would make for a nice media push for our service.

I'm not sure how many of you are frequent Lifehacker readers (or any other Kinja sites for that matter). It seems though, that you don't need to sign-up via Kinja directly to cast your vote, as there are many other ways to authenticate. So if you'd like to support us and help us reaching more people with our DRM-Free service, we would really appreciate if you clicked through to the GOG.com voting option on Lifehacker, and endorsed us by clicking the star under our service description.

On a slightly different note, It makes me very happy to see that the voters also take time to leave some nice comments about their experience with GOG.com. No other store gets as much appreciation :-) Thank you!

I'mma go and do it.
Just voted, but it seems it is still required to register some kind of username to kinja, even though I authentified via google. Oh well...

Lifehacker
high rated
voted, keep up the awesome work you guys (and maybe girls?) are doing, its really hard to find a retailer who still values the customer and not only his wallet these days
Is 'Livehacker' some pun for something on their site or is that a typo?

Anyway, not familiar with this site but good luck :)

I must be severely lacking. I don't see anywhere to vote, recommend, or star this nomination. Grrrrr...lol

EDIT: never mind...think I figured it out....go GOG.

Ah, to register with Kinja or to not register. I've shied away from the Gawker family on the commenting battlefront, so much fire.

Hopefully GOG can win!

Thanks for that. Looks like a script was being blocked on my end. :p

hehe, shit happens :D
Voted! Stay awesome, GOG :)
Am I the only one when they click on the star gets an option to go to a social media site? Do I have to do that for the vote to count?

Apparently so. Just use "Burner" option - it does exactly what its name suggests.
I used to read Lifehacker a lot years ago, but not at all anymore.
Not voting, I don't really do social media and all that.
And even if I did it wouldn't be for GOG to be honest, I like GOG but I personally wouldn't call it the best resource for games.
