Um, I just bought Witcher 2 yesterday and the GOG price of $29.99, and now it's $22.24? I expect a refund of the difference.

A fact of life ~the price was different the day before.

(I paid a few hundred for the trueSpace modeler and Vray bundled, and within a few weeks, Microsoft had bought the company and was giving the updated trueSpace away for free ~and one of the fixes purposely disabled Vray support. Life sucks sometimes.)

~Speaking of Life sucks.... Why did 'good OLD games' require Snow Leopard for their MAC installers!? Is it really impossible to run these on 10.5?

Clearly they saw that Steam was selling it at the lower price and felt they had to compete, but in so doing they unfairly cheated those of us who paid the higher price. Asking for a refund of the difference is not at all unreasonable in this case and I expect to get it.

What on earth are you going on about? 29.99 is the full price of the Witcher 2, and has been for some time. There was no misleading pricing, you just bought it before the sale started.

Maybe they'll refund it, but this is hardly the place to ask. Email support, I'm sick of these forums being clogged up with random pointless bitching.

No, the advertised sale price was from the time the sale started and NOT from when YOU bought it. GOG has no obligation to refund the extra money and, being American, I can also say you would never get that at any company in the US either.

whoa that is cool - Feral is a good company, I've had positive experiences with their games/ports and customer service

Might be just a "better to be safe than sorry". If you want the DOS games they are just standalone Boxer ports, you can get Boxer from here:
http://boxerapp.com
The current version still runs on 10.5 but support for that will be dropped with the 1.4 release. To get the Boxer file from GoG's standalone port right-click it -> Show Package Contents -> Contents -> Resources -> NameOfTheGame.boxer
Take that nd put it somewhere where you want your Boxer gameboxes to be. then you can just double-click the gamebox to start Boxer.

The Witcher is a Wineskin port, those don't run on Leopard anymore. The developer's reasoning was that that any Mac that's Intel can run 10.6 and PowerPC Macs cannot run Wine anyway.

Hey GOG! You are surprising me still and everywhere!!! I didn't noticed it at first, but artworks in .dmgs are just AWESOME!!! They are made with real love! Thank you Windows users can be jealous:D

Already used boxer for some games and its a great application. Good to know you are using it.
Now you can provide an out-of-the-box installation without any configuration effort.
