With the addition of newer games (indies) and even the pre-order of games, the question came to mind a few times how they will handle this. As far as I'm aware, 'patched versions' for Gog games, at least until recently entailed redownloading the whole game didn't it? Even Witcher 2 was redone at some point I believe?

Take Legend of Grimrock for instance. It being a new game it will no doubt get patches on a somewhat regular basis. Will this be available on Gog somewhere or do we need to go offsite for those? Or will the downloaders simply be changed whenever that happens?

So the question would be,
Did they change anything about how games will be downloaded? Especially when it comes to patches.
Maybe they'll have a separate autopatcher available on the bonus section like TW2.
In the new downloader thread a blue post mentioned that they're working on some kind of patch support. No real details though. Here.
