Please help us make GOG.com a better place and get Realms of Arkania 1+2 for free.

Short version:
1. Complete the survey below.
2. Enter your correct e-mail address.
3. Get a copy of Realms of Arkania 1+2 sent to you via mail next week.
4. If you own RoA 1+2 you can gift it to a friend!

Long version:
The GOG.com Annual Gamer Survey is now our yearly tradition, so once again we ask that you spare 5 minutes of your time and help us make your favorite digital distribution platform a better place. Taking part in it isn't mandatory of course, but recommended if you want to have your share in making GOG the best digital distribution service there is.

Filling out the GOG.com Gamer Survey 2012 does not only guarantee you lifelong happiness but also grants you a free copy of Realms of Arkania 1+2. When completing the survey, enter your e-mail address and we'll be sending you codes for Realms of Arkania 1+2 next week, after the survey is completed. If you already own Realms of Arkanie 1+2, the code can be gifted as well.

JMich: Click on the dropdown again, to make it the active control. If by pressing the up/down arrow you can change the selection, it is the active control. Tab will move you to the next control, which should be the submit button. Alternatively, move to the first field (aka e-mail) and press enter.

Thanks for the help guys, I know I can complete it on Firefox or Explorer or doing these tricks now, but I already completed it three times and I'm not in the mood of doing it again... and, of course, of reading people who say it has no bugs...

GOG.com claims it also fixed it in the meanwhile, so it is possible that those saying they encounter no bugs didn't, since they used form version 2.0 (so to speak).
No worries, take your time, you do have 1 week to submit your survey, should you want to do it again.

Already own Realms of Arkania but wanted to participate in the survey either way. But honestly, I have no idea what brought me here in the first place. It was probably some "buy classic games on GOG.com" banner somewhere - maybe on the DosBox page, maybe on some other page dedicated to retro gaming. I remember that it was the build engine games that initially caught my attention and I instantly bought Duke Nukem 3D, Blood and Redneck Rampage. Because of Redneck Rampage I noticed that there was an Interplay promo at the time, so I ended up buying a whole lot of other games on the same day. Oh, what a beautiful day that was.

Edit: Btw, the survey was missing the "ready to play" and "compatibility" factor in the "importance" questions. For me it was very important that after downloading a game I can instantly play it, even on a modern machine. Not only is it the kind of treatment I want as a customer, it's also something that tells me "hey, the GOG people are gamers just like me" and automatically made the GOG staff my buddies - people I really like to give money to. Not to mention that for some titles it's the only way to get them running (I've bought quite a few GOGs that I wouldn't have been able to make work at all).

I don't... quite understand why certain questions are needed, like "do you ever buy newer games from GOG", "did you ever buy a classic $5.99 or $9.99 game" etc. Doesn't GOG have the first-hand data on what people have bought, and at which prices? Why these need to be polled too?

Also I was unsure if the question "Did you ever buy a classic $5.99 or $9.99 game from GOG.com?" mean also promos (e.g. buying a $5.99 game for $2.99), or only outside promos, with their default prices. I presumed it meant "default prices". Either way, the answer is the same.

Doesn't matter, I'll answer anyway, albeit I have RoA 1+2 already from GOG.

Strange behavior: upon completing the survey, the whole survey placeholder turns white, scrollbar remains at the end, the thank you message is on top - could be confusing for some, expect multiple submissions :D

Oh yeah, another thing I didn't mention before: for me it was very important that you guys make sure that the music works. After having bought a few classic games on Steam, where the audio music wouldn't play, I was extremely amazed that GOG goes the extra mile of making it work. Big bonus points from me.
