Thanks Gog.com!

Keep selling more and more games, old or more newer ones without DRM!
hooray!
Give me more classic pc games in good price, and can run in modern pc after update forever!
Great idea for the survey. Am swamped with work this week but will definitely get to it before the deadline. Nice to see GOG asking :)

tarasis: The only thing wrong with the survey for me was the question about which platform would you buy the game if released on iOS/android and PC.

There should have been another option. Either Other or Depends. For instance I will likely buy Baldurs Gate Enhanced Edition for the iPad rather than PC or Mac because I think it would be best suited for that device. Likewise say Broken Sword or Monkey Island
Question asks about your favorite PC game released on iOS/Android, not just any game. If you know what your favorite PC game is, you can answer objectively.

maycett: About the android/iOS question: it depends on whether I can play that game comfortably with touch controls. Where's my "other" option? :S
Unbelievable.

What I want to see from GoG are more language options for older games. Some games, like the Legacy of Kain series for instance, have very good German voice overs, and it is shame that they are not available here.
Well, for what it's worth I would amend the comments made in my survey response if I could to take account of the fact that I have now bought Resonance. I totally missed that it was 50% off at the moment when lamenting the fact that I missed the pre-order deal on it. :P

timppu: Doesn't GOG have the first-hand data on what people have bought, and at which prices? Why these need to be polled too?

RafaelLopez: +1
You do know that the survey is made by a third party, which doesn't (and shouldn't) have any information by gog, right? It shouldn't have our usernames, it shouldn't have our registration date, it shouldn't have the number of games on our shelfs.
Also, gog knows what customers it has, but it is also asking what customers answers surveys.
The question about PC age is missing an option if our computer is 3-4 years old.
I hope to see the data about no DRM as that's most important for me. I'm going to go nuts if they ever change that stance because this site is growing..
I was happy to fill out the survey! Thank you for the free games and I have to say you guys are awesome! The DRM free revolution seems to be going strong :)
Happy to fill out the survey - to be honest the absolute highlight of GoG for me so far has been Legend of Grimrock which I absolutely love. The low point way buying MESSIAH, which was utter crap and doesn't even work properly.

I suppose the problem is that there are only so many classics that can be released.... however now would be an excellent time to release Hostile Waters, System Shock 1&2, Terra Nova and to sign a deal with Lucas Arts.

RafaelLopez: Never bought from Steam, but classics with missing music on DOSBox? Where? If the game runs, it should run music unless you make sure to not configuring sound card. :)
Not only Dos games and it's not about the soundcard. The problem is music that originally was played from audio tracks of the game's CD. Neither Quake nor Jedi Knight on Steam have any kind of emulation for it, IIRC the tracks aren't even included in the package so you can't burn yourself a CD including the music unless you own the original discs. In both cases members of the community had to help each other out.

Not really, maybe accepted classics but they should target niché oldies as well as long as it's financially feasible. Besides, if they target first the oldest games by the time they are close to done the new games will be the "current classics" and is a preferable game order in my opinion.

Anyway, are you suppose to receive a response e-mail? After I pressed submit the page loaded and said the e-mail was sent but I can't see if actually was successful.
Is there any sort of confirmation email I can expect?

It makes me nervous when I sign up to get a free promotion and don't know whether it went through or not until after the window of opportunity closes.

But... but... I love Messiah. ;(
