Trilarion: I am already excited about something special that may or may not come in
True, TET has said more or less the same during the summer, though I can't really recall what. He did more or less say that the best are yet to come.

I assume it'd be the addition of another big publisher. Take Two (2K), please?
Where are the survey questions?

Nvm: Did the survey. I had NoScript on (Firefox).

I still remember my first days on GOG, recommended by a friend who plays a lot of old RPG's, they had this 50% off on The Witcher and I bought it, enjoyed it and started buying other games. My last purchase was Torchlight, an amazing game I might say.
Took the survey.
I sure hope they listen about letting us know which new games are coming out on gog BEFORE the release date of the actual game.
:)

I wont pay full price for a game, that I just payed full price for 2-3-4 months before, just because it magically came out on gog way after the release date.

I love you GOG. I don't know anything about the free game, but I honestly don't care. This is the only site where I see there's a survey and I want to fill it out regardless of what's being offered.
Ah, now that I made my preferences clear in this survey, I'm certain I'll have my every desire fulfilled. Heroes of Might and Magic V for $1,99! Pre-order GTA V for free for an hour! Asian children for sale on the site!

Slightly disappointed that I already have the freebie listed. I know, I'm not supposed to whine about this, but still, I'm a greedy bastard. If you want to give a freebie from your own catalog, I think at least you should make it possible for people to get an alternative if they already own it... I'm just saying.

PositronicBrain: my real answer to the question "Would you purchase a game on PC or on iOs if it was available on both" was "depends on the game"
Question reads not "a game" but "your favorite game". Pretty specific, so it doesn't depend on the game, it's the game you classify as your personal favorite.
I wish people who are having trouble completing the survey informed their browser and version. Not because I want to help, but because I want to be sure they use the wrong browser.

That's actually a very good point. There have been several instances where I've bought games on Steam, only to have them come out on GOG.com a few weeks later. There's no way I'm going to buy them again unless they're stupidly cheap or rolled in with another game, but had I known they were going to show up here so quickly, I would've held off on purchasing them and paid a few dollars more when they became available here.

timppu: Doesn't GOG have the first-hand data on what people have bought, and at which prices? Why these need to be polled too?
+1
GOG, if loving you is wrong, I don't want to be right.

F4LL0UT: After having bought a few classic games on Steam, where the audio music wouldn't play...
Never bought from Steam, but classics with missing music on DOSBox? Where? If the game runs, it should run music unless you make sure to not configuring sound card. :)

Trilarion: The most important question was missing:

"Which new major publisher do you want to bring us to you within 4 weeks?"

:)))
Or "When do you want System Shock 1+2 released on GOG?"
( ) Now
( ) By the end of the day
( ) When I get home
( ) Right after dinner

Submitted. Thanks GOG
Lol... i felt exactly the same way as you did dkclemons1.

It's such a good initiative that you want to support it, even if it's just by filling out a survey.

timppu: (...) unsure what to write on the "on how old PC do you play your GOGs" (...) so far I've played them solely in quite old/weak hardware. (...) I answered "new PC" though...
Great, you blew it :)
