It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Has anyone else had problems getting GOG to work recently with Google Chrome and Firefox? In Firefox everything works, but the buttons often don't show up. In Google Chrome, everything displays, but many of the buttons that I click on just don't work, the search boxes don't work, etc. I've just started having these problems within the last month or so.

For Firefox, go to Help, Check for Updates and make sure you are running the latest version.
Edit: if you are not at 3.6.3 you might have to update a couple of times. Make sure Chrome is the latest version as well.

Yes, both are fully up to date. I'm not sure what happened but it's only started recently. Before a month or so GOG was fine on both.
For FireFox, I would suggest you regularly empty your cache. You can do that by looking in the options. You probably want the "Offline Storage" section. But depending on your version of FireFox the option may have a different name.
I used to get the no buttons in Firefox thing a lot (as did many others) but haven't in months probably. Send a message to support and let them know.

i think it was something to do with the firefox cache (as bansama mentioned) and firefox updates. Searching around the forum should find a solution if clearing the cache doesn't help.
I use chrome and I have not had any problems with the site. Maybe its a setting you have.
Chrome here as well, no problems whatsoever.

Justin: ...

If you have updated any plugins or extensions lately, try disabling the new updates, restart and see if that fixes the problem.
See this thread for a possible fix if the localstore.rdf is corrupted.
Tested it right now with Chrome, Firefox and IE. (Yea, I have all three browsers, but mostly use Chrome).
No problems whatsoever.

As for Firefox, I know I used to have this issue. Have you tried force-refreshing the page (Ctrl+F5)? That always worked for me.
I just tried to quote KavazovAngel's post (all 3 browsers) in Chrome, and it gave me a totally different quote.
:P
Other than that, everything else works just fine, all 3 browsers.

Lol! I quoted your post in all 3 browsers, it gave me exactly the same thing. Try clearing the cache of all of them or something.
Thanks everyone! Clearing the cache fixed the problems (oddly, I had to clear the cache twice with Google Chrome--after clearing it once the menu quit displaying altogether, then after clearing it again everything seems to be visible and work when clicked).
