blotunga: But why would I need a virtual wallet?

mistermumbles: Try buying ten copies of the same game (i.e. for a giveaway) having to re-enter your CC # for each copy. Now that's tedious!

As far as I recall someone from GOG has already hinted such a feature may be coming. I guess we'll find out on Thursday.
It was hinted during the aftermath of aow3.
Now let me play a bit Sherlock here, since the staff member with the least trustworthy name in world history answered already, I doubt it's what they will reveal...
A good guess would be the streamer support program. I'm not sure whether they will reveal it, but I'm dead sure, when GOG isn't seeing that streaming is currently the most potent PR one can get and every other company already understood this, they are blind. This has to come, question is whether it's the revelation.
Just an ordinary GOG wallet would be good, to save up for Witcher 3 when the exchange rate is favourable:)

Crsldmc: Email notification for a game wishlisted on sale would be enough for me.
And one click instabuy included if you have enough money in the GOG wallet.

Men, we both fixed the OP idea and made it a really great one.

I personally don't like XYZ wallet money. After all it is a less convertible currency. I will proceed buying with dollars, the only real thing.

I was actually talking about the wishlist notification when on sale system that other sites have applied.

As for the use of a wallet, the idea is a practical one; so that X bank doesn't lock your card after Y uses.

Edit: Well, I was quoted out. Oh well.

I saw the misquoting and did without a quote but you got a notification probably anyway. Sorry.

Indeed, it could be a simple, basically hassle free feature to buy your games.

I don't like online wallets at all, always pay up in dollars just like you, I've used Google Wallet to buy HB only and used Skrill once to buy some GamersGate games.

But other than that I hate a third person system controlling my money.

Okay, staff member who's name expresses the most cost efficient buisness idea in world history...
... better?

Well, there was a dude that seems to have been offended by your username.

Hmm, from the first time I saw your "name" I've assumed you took it from the black metal group using the name, not the biblical figure... as, why do the latter? Well, maybe for agit-prop purposes, but you don't seem the type for that. :D
