Crassmaster: It all depends on how structured the podcast is going to be. The more 'segments' you go in to this with somewhat preplanned, the fewer chunks of audio consisting of silence and a lot of 'umm' and 'uhhh' there will be to cut out after. You don't want to plan it so much that everything sounds forced, but a little structure is a good idea.

chautemoc: Relatively structured. I'm thinking three or four segments with the option to diverge a bit on each -- no more than five or ten minutes roughly. Not too rigid but not too loose. Wrap it up in about an hour.

Sounds pretty good. Looking forward to it becoming a reality. :)

Can I be a regular? I'd like to give being part of a podcast a shot, especially as I could ramble on all day about good old games of all kinds.
UTC -5. Available just about any time unless I say so; I know I'll resume college/university in August, but I currently have no idea what the schedule would be.
