The biggest thing on the forums will be a redesigned, more functional, main page and a new skin. Apart from that lots of small improvements and fixes based on all feedback from our community. I cannot post the complete list of changes at this point, as some things are still being worked on and... well... we don't want to spoil all the surprises to early ;).
I can tell you that among improvements on the forums there will be an option to track posts by GOG.com Team as well as improved search that scans the whole topics, not just topic names. Also, a ton of small bug fixes, like for example a better support for special characters in the post contents.
PS: We'll give out more details closer to the update :)

Now, seriously, the idea for "skinnable" shelf is pretty interesting, we'll see about it. But it's definitely a post-Update1 thing.

Getting rid of the +1 or -1 would suffice, keeping the solution/resolved would be the best.

Just getting rid of the (-) is all that is needed. Turn the minus into a "hide this post" button that has no impact on the user who posted it.

Well I think the reputation system is so widely regarded as being frivolous that it really has no impact on anyone at this point. Getting rid of it would be fine but I think that they should concentrate on other things if it is a hassle to fix. Of course if it's just a matter of turning off an option I don't know what they're waitng for...

getting rid of +1 or -1 on posts is good, but in the instance of helping people (getting +3 reputation points for solving another persons issue), that is good and should stay. :)
