Doesn't make that DRM-free thing torrenting Gog games legal? I mean is it possible to share the games with others or is every game bound to just one customer by any terms? And NO I'm not going to download Gog.com games via Torrent.

The DRM-freeness of GOG games gives each individual consumer the right to store and backup their games as they wish for personal use only. Sharing these with other people through any means, including torrents, is illegal.

But how are they to find out someone is doing just that?

And how Steam would find out if you would do that with their game?

They can't. They just trust the user.

On the one hand - everyone is a thief at heart and no one can be trusted.
On the other hand - people are basically decent, moral and honorable and can be trusted.

The difference is, gog.com makes it incredibly easy. You just have to run a exe. Installing games have never been easier.

The social contract, which is that most of us will abide by the rules most of the time, is what makes civilisation possible. If enough parasites violate the contract, then the system breaks down, whether it's a company or a nation. Then you get extreme responses, such as police states or invasive DRM, in which all members are considered potential criminals rather than potential good citizens.

I know it's crappy to do that, that's why i have decided to pay for the games gog.com offers because i appreciate the work. I had to reconfigure games myself to make them run on modern systems and sometimes it was a nightmare.

Actually you'll notice that TPB (and other torrent sites) actually don't have all GOG's games, there's plenty of missing stuff. I definitely think there's a little bit of a bro agreement that because their DRM-free and all, pirating GOG's is a shitty thing. Same reason the abandonware sites take down old games and put links to GOG (well all the one's I know) when GOG gets that game.
