I just thought I should mention that Hostile Waters is now on Green Man Gaming, with Funbox Media (who are already on GOG) listed as the publisher. So... isn't it about time for it to show up here again too?

Yeah good point. Hostile Waters is still my favourite game of all time. It would be a shame if it didn't make it to GoG.
Sorry guys, but pulling ouy a game from catalogue, without a single word of warning is just simply unprofessional.

If it wasn't for great community who sees everything, we wouldn't know anything about it...

TheEnigmaticT: Let me assuage your ill-omened feeling. Interplay is involved in a kerfluffle over the rights, so they have asked every digital distributor--which includes GOG--to delist the game. Once things have settled down, we'll look into offering Hostile Waters for sale again.

Everyone who's purchased Hostile Waters will still have it on his or her shelf and will continue to be able to download it as desired. We're sorry if this has ruined your plans for a Hostile Waters-themed LAN holiday party or whatnot, but we don't know yet whether the title will be removed from GOG or not in the end, so we haven't made a formal announcement.

We'll keep you updated as we know more.
TBH, that statement means not a jot, it's virtually word for word the same thing that's been said for the rest of the deleted games and none of them came back... umm 1 maybe, a couple of years ago.

We can pretty much bank on the fact that it, and the rest, have gone for good. Not that I really cared for it either way.

You ARE aware that this happened back in 2010, right?
Holy Necro-posting, Batman!

Yeah, I haven't put much thought into this one for a while. I'll ask around tomorrow at the office and see what's going on.

Yeah, if it is indeed being sold at other DD sites now, maybe it's time to check whether you can add it back into the catalog again. It's a fantastic game, and truly deserves to be here.

Don't you have people working for you whose sole responsibility is to monitor and maintain your publisher deals?

Original War went back. Operation: Flashpoint went back.
Check your facts :-P
I don't care for this game personally, but an announcement before a game disappears would be nice. I'm surprised this happened actually, I thought gog was good about this kind of thing.

Please let us know as soon as you do :) This is the first game I ever bought, and I still own my original box. Yet, I'd still love to buy this in digital form :)

I've just bought carrier command, It'd be great to compare these. I doubt that it'll be even close :P But I'd love to see a HD remake of Hostile waters, no changes to anything but the graphics :)

I'd buy it like whoa. This was the only delisted game I missed since I signed up.
It remains in legal limbo. Sorry about the long wait, folks, but the legal system was never accused of being quick.

Zeewolf is right, however. The game is being sold on GreenManGaming at this very moment. Does that mean they're doing something illegal? Not that I think you could possibly comment on that.

TheEnigmaticT: As a side note, the lack of a good second person plural pronoun in English vexes me again. (Y'all? Youse guys?) For a language with so many words, it's silly English doesn't have that one.
It does have one... In fact, you used it in your previous post. :P
