triock: Wizardry 8 - now only 4,99$, just buy it, you won't regret it!

Shaolin_sKunk: It's still $9.99 actually, at least for me it is

:(

Hoping it's on a daily at some point.
Add it to cart and go to checkout! :p

Might even be a pricing fuckup since it is a new release, so yeah, I second. Normally I would wait to see if it gets to be a daily deal of some sort, but that is not gonna be the case here.

Besides, 5bux is the price I was waiting for
The fairly obvious ones: Fallout, Fallout 2 and Fallout Tactics.

Other ones that popped up by typing "fa" into the search field:
FTL: Really good. Surprised me even though I'm not usually into these sort of games, or even the setting. Give it a chance.
Fahrenheit: Sure, the plot drops the ball about midway through and there's a lot of QTE, but for three dollars this is a great pre-Heavy Rain adventure that does lots of things right, too
Adventure lovers! Has anyone played the Atlantis series? I've looked them forever but not sure if they're any good... Input would be welcomed ;-)

Aw sweet! Thanks!

edit: although it looks like we may have simply been taking advantage of a glitch.

Overlord! For lovers of parody, puns and blowing things up: https://secure.gog.com/gamecard/overlord_raising_hell

Icewind Dale, 1+2 - I like these much better than Baldur's Gate. Planescape: Torment is a great game and very immersive, but unfortunately it immerses you into a horrible place for the first little bit, so I've never managed to get very far.

Sim City 2000 is fun.

Darwinia is fun and not a typical game.

I've heard that Jade Empire is very good, but just got it so YMMV.

jamyskis: I'll add my own then: :)

Of today's offers:

Alan Wake Pack - American Nightmare isn't actually all that great, but as a freebie bundled with the undeniably excellent Alan Wake, this really is an unbeatable deal (despite the Humble Bundle beating it recently). If you haven't already picked this up in one of the countless offers recently, now's the chance.
Can you describe to me why Alan Wake is great? I don't mean to be dickish, really. I WANTED to like this game but I couldn't. I've played it from start to finish but, from chapter 3 and onwards I was forcing myself thru it (hoping it would bring something new to make it worth my while) and not having any enjoyment out of it.

So much in fact that I did not even play American Nightmare (but I've played the two extra chapters from the original).

They are great but the most Atlantis game i loved in the series is not here ,Beware that if you are not into pixel hunting and insane puzzles, the game will be impossible to finish at times.
Also there are some issues that gog versions havent resolved so check em out first

would be awesome if gog got this one some day

Besides the obvious argument, the low, low price, Alan Wake had certain moments that kept it interesting for me, even if overall it wasn't as great as I predicted. Without trying to spoil anything, these moments include the bar, the concert and the part where the Old Gods ballad starts playing (mainly because the song was just that good imo)

Perhaps people consider the atmosphere the best part in the game, even if the actual gameplay and/or plot left them cold, such in my case.

its not gog issues but the game itself ,its pretty poor in running on modern system, you will have random crashes in game, no audio , freezing during videos, i remember people complaining here that in the first game there is a spot where the game always crashes.

.....here it is http://www.gog.com/forum/atlantis_series/game_crashes_when_talking_to_the_guards

for the love of atlantis ninja'd by triock......
