This will bring more customers and more money .

Imagine if GOG could offer the same Collector's Editions for $9.99 that currently are available on Big Fish Games for $19.99 ( $13.99 if you are a Game Club member aka subscriber ) and complete series as bundles .

They need to contact with these developers :

Artifex Mundi
Blam! Games
Blue Tea Games
Boolat Games
Boomzap Entertainment
Daily Magic Productions
Domini Games
Eipix Entertainment
Elephant Games
Elefun Games
ERS Game Studios
Gogii Games
Melesta Games
Orneon

why would these people sell their games here for $9.99 when they can sell them on BigFish and all other casual games stores (some are on Steam...) for around $19.99?

Good question.

Why indie developers sell their games here when they can sell them on Steam , Amazon , Desura , etc . ?
I think we have enough indy and casual type games coming in at the moment, Id like to see a few more golden oldies or perhaps some newer mainstream titles. I mean we got AC and HoMM5 the witcher 2 and then it kinda dried up on that front (a few exceptions like dragon commander and the like of course)
Selling shovelware doesn't seem like a very sound business strategy

You didn't answer amoks question...

You explicitly suggested, that those indie devs could/should sell their games here on GOG.com at a significant lower price point (50% off, actually) than on all the other sites mentioned.

So, amoks question is a legit one.

Casual games has always been shovelware, they started calling it casual games because it sounds fancier. Nothing wrong with lining it, it's pretty popular too since smartphones/tablets are around but that's what it is. Cheaply made games at a low price.

Most of them, not all. PvZ is arguably not a shovelware, right?

Popcap were pretty much the first company to have the 'casual game' moniker given to them, is that right?

No offense, but the demand for such games on GOG seems to be extremely low. In fact, I see only one person requesting them, and that would be you. Each couple of months, you open a thread that GOG "needs" to offer casual games / games for kids / etc., and each time most of the community disagrees more or less politely.

Why do you keep doing this?
