I am able to get Panettone around here this time of year. It is much preferable over Fruitcake, though I'm not a huge fan of jellied fruits in my cake at the best of times.

Oh, and this discussion has led me to order two Danish Kringles for Xmas. :)

This is turning into a dangerous thread alright. My cake-and-cookie purchases have increased noticeably since we went on this tangent. :)

A cookie exchange would be pretty awesome. Find a few sites with good deals on holiday cookies, and then set up a Secret Santa for everyone to send their favourite to another member. Could be a good way to introduce folks to a new holiday treat. :)

And knowing how the various post services treat parcels, you'd receive a pack of "cookie crumbles" ;-P
