Yep, they're a variant of German Lebkuchen which I also adore - bummer that an idiotically persistent stomach problem won't allow me to enjoy them this year :(

Cripes, that sucks mate. Can you have Danish Kringle at least? That's lovely this time of year too.

I'm fortunate that my stomach will let me put just about anything into it. How long it stays in is an entirely different matter...

I finally got a way to get home for Christmas. Huzzah!! I think I'll add another gift code to the secret santa. I'll put them all together before sending it all on a single PM to make things easier to manage, hopefully sometime over the weekend.

I'm unfortunately on a strict, hospital-like diet for several months now and from the looks of things I will remain on it for at least a few months more, so no festive meals or deserts for me this holiday :(

Enough with the depressing stuff though, this is the GOG SecretSanta thread after all.

The best way to have a happy Christmas* is to stay abroad the rest of the time, IMO. Christmas is awesome now.

My cousin's kids are 4 this year (it was their birthday last week, twins). This will be the first Christmas with kids in the family since... since I was a kid, actually. Should be fun.
