Novotnus: Actually, I collect bad games... shame I have all those crappy ones that GOG offers :)
You should GOGmix those up, would make enjoyable reading. :D

Of 'lowest rated' only LSL: Magna Cum Laude gave me absolutely no joy. Slender, Forsanen Gods, Ultima 9 - all those have some redeeming factors :)

LSL: MCL is a pretty lousy experience alright. I've not played any of the others, thankfully. I still believe you should do a GOGmix, if only to spare others from the horror. Or to attract similar aficionados of dreck to them. :)

Maybe I'll do it one day, when I feel creative enough to come up with mini-reviews :)

Please post a link if you do. And it could be fun to do sarcastic reviews, a la the Jack Keane 2 ones apres the Insomnia sale.

geoconker: I have a question. Why 14 December? I get it we need some time to decide which games to buy and all that, but there's always a Christmas Sale mid-December. I think a reasonable amount of people will buy games from their own wishlists if they get huge discounts (75%+) instead of hoping someone else gifts them in this period, so the Secret Santa kind of misses the point if too many people get games they just bought, right?
That's why, just like last year, I will only put up games for the SS (oh my!) wishlist that I know I don't absolutely "need" (want), but am still interested in. ;)

I actually bought that one out of morbid curiosity. Frankly, I've played worse. Lots worse. Some of the character interaction is actually pretty funny. Sure, the gameplay is not all that inspired as it really is nothing more than a bunch of minigames, but it actually has its moments, namely Larry being so inept a lover he turns one girl into a lesbian, with whom he only reconciliates after a dance-off in a gay bar to a parody reworking of Grease's 'Summer Nights'. That shit was hilarious.

Perhaps the deadline should be extended? GOG should help us out here by announcing there'll be another day with huge sales (like in 12/21/2012), but unfortunately it's not gonna happen mainly because this site loves to surprise us ;)
This gives people 1 week to decide and buy their gifts, and an additional 3 days for me to chase people for their gift codes. I've always used similar dates in the GOG Secret Santa's 4 year history and it seems to work fairly well. Happy to listen to alternative suggestions though. :)
I don't know if it's been said yet but Woosk makes 50 full-on Secret Santas! There's 53 folk involved total with two elves, Dischord and NameGoo, and then the Santa-mastermind Nmillar. Woooo!

Weren't they 74 the previous year? We're coming a bit short!

Still a good number for some Xmas gift carpet bombing.

Yeah, maybe I'm a little biased here. I really liked the old Larry, really wanted to play Lust in Space hinted at the end of Love for Sail and then this came out, with different gameplay, different structure and different protagonist.
I'm in! I'll PM you my wishlist.
