nmillar: It'll be alright; we'll just juggle some stuff around. If that doesn't work out, I'll just buy some extra gifts myself and use any spare codes in a future giveaway. :)
So you think it's okay to give in to the temptation when games on our wishlists are heavily discounted, even after the 15th? Or should we refrain from that, at the risk of missing the opportunity and then getting a different game for Christmas?

That's why I left off some games that I knew I really wanted to get myself without having to rely on this gift exchange.

I think I don't have such must-have games on my wishlist, but I still might be tempted to get games I'm curious about if their price suddenly drops significantly (like 75%) ... If I remove all games from the list that I'd be tempted to buy for 75%, that would leave me with either an empty list or a list of games I don't really want. ;)

What I plan to do is buying the games that are too tempting as gifts. If my secret Santa has that game in his wishlist, he'll get it, and I'll wait for the next promo. If not, then I'll redeem it. If my gift is a game I've purchased, then I guess I'll do a giveaway.

You do now that you can get to users wiki page by clicking their username, right?

I am down to 21 games now! Yay! I started with almost 50 so it's great feat. Most of them will return there after this ends, though. :-) With each game I consider how much I would be happy with recieving it and then decide if it is enough to keep it on the list.

I think I have my wishlist pretty much done now. There are a couple that I removed and some I added. I believe that Telltale will have a promo day (they always seemed to have sales on Steam) and if they have Wallace & Gromit for 75% off I don't think I could resist.
