Im not sure I quite follow, why dont we just buy the game we want from our wishlist ourselves?

You could do that all the year, but it wouldn't be a surprise gift though.

It's not about gain, profit or even the specific games, I'd say. It's more about the joy of gifting something AND receiving a gift, with the trepidation of discovering what will it be. And the community spirit :)
At least that's what it is for me.

We used to do something like that in real life when we were kids, and it was fun.

What I'm doing is buying my must-have games by myself during this sale, and finalize a wishlist with some games I'd like to try, and let my secret gifter choose it for me ;)

Just got myself an unexpected holiday treat; a new bodykit for my car. It's a generic Chinese copy of an AMG kit I wanted to get, but AMG wouldn't ship it here, so I was happy to find the copy instead.

Now to try and find a trustworthy car body shop to fit it.....

Body kits arent that hard if you have the right equipment (they often need some... alteration)
Ok sounds cool! ^.^
My wish-list is as follows:

Another World: 15th Anniversary Edition
Broken Sword 3: The Sleeping Dragon
Evil Genius
Gabriel Knight 2: The Beast Within

Couldn't have said it better myself. :)

EDIT: Got a couple of busy days ahead of me, but I'll do all the administration for this on Thursday / Friday and prod people who haven't submitted wishlists yet.

4 days to get those wishlists in!!

Sorry guys, It's a terrible shame, but it appears I won't be able to participate. Please remove my name and wishlist from the the list.

It's a terrible shame, but it appears I'm unemployed now. It means no monies from next week till indefinite period.

Sorry again :-(
