I am looking to possibility purchase a Laptop but don't really want to spend a lot of money of features if I am going to play mostly old and GOG games on it. For example I still have the original Baldurs Gate 2 + TOB and Planescape Torment.
Important Factors...
1-Able to play most or all upcoming games on GOG. Able to play all games on GOG currently too.
2-Price
3-Heat (Since it generally will be on my lap most of the time). 3rd Party Heat dissipation option?
4-Has to be able to use Direct X 9 through 11. If increases cost dramatically for Direct X 10/11 cards on a laptop then a card the initially is for Direct X 9 is good.

Absolutely NOT a HP DV9000 series, piece of crap.
If its mostly for GOGs, you certainly don't need a DX11 card so I'd suggest saving money there. You might be able to get away with the cheap intel GMA950 chip but if you can afford it I'd go for a better one just for the newer games.
I'd suggest having a look on dell and seeing what you can assemble for your money. I'd suggest a Studio rather than an Inspiron, the Inspirons feel kinda cheap

Honestly though if you plan on getting an HP or Dell, I'd do it in the next couple of days. Bing currently has a 20% cash back deal going for them.
Better question though, are there any video cards out besides the ATI HD5870 that support DX11? Asking for Direct X 11 in a laptop video card is a bit much at this time.

Hmm... ASUS Republic of Gamers laptop? :) That should play all GOG games for sure. :p

Webcam not included, HDMI output doesn't need to be included, any backlit keyboard is not needed, just the basics but good enough basics without the extra stuff. I maybe could go for $800 but would really like not too. I do plan on not buying a warrenty as it will cost nearly $150-$200 of the total price.

Hmm if I remember, there was a topic with a gog staff guy quoting some models.
Maybe you can e-mail gog and ask what notebooks and netbooks they use for play testing before release.

Not only is it in your budget range, but the video chipset is better than the Intel ones that come with most lower-end laptops. Thus, it should run GoG games better.

At the moment ATI is the only choice. All 5xxx series GPUs support DX11, and this includes the mobile versions. Nvidia will reportedly release DX11 cards in the 300 series but the first card (GeForce 310) is still only DX10.1.

DX11 for under $800 in a laptop = laff, btw.
