wouldn't it be cool to get points when you buy a game.Like 10 from a 3.99$ game and 15 points form 5.99$ game(bigger price more points). After you would have collected enough points you could buy avatars, soundtrack and stuff like that and may be you could even buy games

... no?

They ALREADY give us free avatars, soundtracks, and stuff like that!
No new features, please!

Fix the problems first.
GOG adds the soundtracks for a lot of games in as standard, its these little bonuses that bring some of us here, making them rewards when you have X amount of points may drive business away.

IMO bad idea, but others may think differently, as the old saying goes "Oppinions are like assholes, everyones got one and they all stink."

No, no it wouldn't.

What next? That you can buy a game for 800 points, but can only buy points in lumps of 1000? Why would anyone want GOG to introduce some of the absolute worst ideas from other digital distributors?
I mean you could buy stuff that isn't free extra content.Something diffrent like gif avatar with games like dukem nukem 3d or fallout .Games could be bought cheaper useing your points
to some level like 30%
It would be even cooler if they forced us to buy our games with GOG points instead of real money! They could sell us 12 GOG points for $10 and games could cost 7 GOG points or 15 GOG points.

So, even though GOG now makes all the extra content they can find freely available, you really think they ought to hold some of it back?

And they already have sales where you can get a higher discount if you buy more games. There is absolutely no need for yet another ridiculous point system.

That's basically what I said, isn't it? ;-)

This. Also, there are no $3.99 games on GOG...
And you can steal other people's avatars so it's pointless to earn them. ;-)

THIS!
THIS THIS THIS!
Its been nearly six months since the last update of the service.

~25 guys and girls... 8-9 hours per day... 5 days per week... 6 months...

Some kind of announcement would have been enough. Not the generic "we're working on fixing the problems, but we're very busy". Busy with what exactly? :)

EDIT: It has been 6 months since my last purchased game too. I prefer GG now.

absolutely :)

on the other hand , am i the only one that smells gwl inhere.
earn credits , buy games , earn more credits , ... .
i mean , we get a lot of free stuff with the games for free.
the games are absolutely cheap.
So it's actually us who should give credits to GoG
i'd like to see something like the gamersgate-reward system, but i doubt it would be profitable for GOG since the games are already pretty cheap.

Off topic, but I would like to know - what kind of problems?

I haven't notice anything broken at forums and website. I exclude problems with some particular games, as I'm sure that different team works on website and different on upgrading games.
