Good question! The way I understood your last post your opinion is that even "detachable" Steam releases in fact aren't DRM-free which is something I absolutely can't agree with and in an attempt to avoid a discussion about this here in this thread I thought I'll just give you a link to a thread where more competent people have already made their point. Obviously I failed.
Wow! Gog sold already over 4k copies.... That's just amazing!! At first when I saw their goals I was really skeptical - 15 000 and up to 150 000.... But now I can see I am a bit too pessimistic... And the price of the bundle is going down... Great promo!! And it's great that such an underrated game as Divinity 2 is coming to gog!!

I'm glad you find me competent since i actually posted on that thread. I also don't want to derail this so i'll keep it short. Bypassing a requiremet, the exact words i used on my post on that therad in regards to the client, doesn't make anything magically DRM free, bypassing methods wise the only thing that fluctuates from one method to the next is how hard or easy it is to do it. However, both sides on this issue have already covered this ground enough times and it's obvious pretty much everybody has made up their minds, so i don't feel the need to to rain on other people's parade by ruining threads with titles i don't agree with, that's why i contributed to that therad you linked me to, irrelevant as my contribution was, and that's why i said i won't object to the use of the label even though i don't agree with it.
What this bundle is worth to me:
DD: $3 (GOG sale)
BD: $3 (GOG sale)
Divinity 2: $8 (amazon sale)
Total = $14

But I also already have DD and Divinity 2 dragon knight saga, so it's worth even less to me, maybe about $10.

Current bundle price ~ $16 (meh)
Quite a nice deal, although since I already own all of the games (multiple times for some of them, and at least one DRM free version for each one) I'll be passing on this particular offering. Still highly recommended for anyone who hasn't yet played these games.

Definately too much. I purchased D2 DKS for $5 last year and this doesn't seem to add much to the game. While I don't mind buying another copy (since D2 was worth more than what I payed) I don't think its worth $16 in addition to what I've already payed. If they deducted $6 or something from that price since I already own DD then that would be another thing entirely, but they aren't. i'll just wait for some sale and pick it up at that time.

Do you have it on Steam? Larian posted on RPGWatch that people who owned D2: DKS on Steam would get it upgraded to D2: DC.

Seriously? I bought it on Amazon when it was on sale, has there been any word on that being upgraded to the Director's Cut?
Larian is working with Steam and Focus on a patch for DKS to add the Developer Mode (which is the only difference in D2:DC).

That's very nice of them. Yes, I do own a steam copy. Having a nice compact installer, though, plus other goodies would be nice too however. I'll probably still buy the GOG copy at some time in the future if for no other reason than to make up for the fact that I didn't pay enough the first time...or at least the angel on my shoulder is tell me to (we'll see later if I actually will).

Still, my main point is this promotion seems like a bit of a joke as the guy a quoted pointed out.

[edit] Also, as it has been said, the difference between the two games is a cheat menu. If I was so lame that I wanted to cheat I wouldn't have played the game on hard the first time.

I wouldn't cheat in the game, either (I played D2:ED on normal, and DKS on nightmare), but I'll play around with the Developer Mode. I'm looking forward to being able to fly around Broken Valley as a dragon before finishing off Sentinel Island.

/me reads walls of text -__-

This is what I come home to? Well, GOG I'll be waiting to see what tomorrow's release and the weekend promo will be before I commit to this. I already own DII, but a director's cut GOG version sounds very appealing to me. I don't own DD, so I may go ahead and pick that one up with The Blackwell Bundle. I'm still trying to read through this thread, but I don't think that's going to happen tonight. I'm not really interested in the BTA part of this promo. As it stands it's around 10% off for the first two. If I pick up more than DD I'll be getting all three. Nice little promo for those that don't own any and want all of this series atm. I could see it being really good if the top supporter tier dropped into the 10-12 range.
Debug build = "Director's Cut"
Good job marketing department! XD

Giving access to GDDs is pretty sweet by the way! It could be a great resource for somebody like me.
I'm completely PISSED OFF.

Just went to GamersGate to see about pre-ordering A Game of Dwarves next week when I get money from a client, only to discover THE GODDAMN GAME IS ONLY AVAILABLE ON STEAM AND IT'S A FUCKING PARADOX GAME!!!

So, after I'd calmed down and realized I won't be buying A Game of Dwarves (nor likely buying anything from GamersGate ever again), I decided I had to do my part to support those developers who DO have a clue and give their gamers an OPTION as to where to purchase their games. Thank you Larian!!

So......I just spent the last $1 in my bank account as a "vote" for Larian on a second copy of Divine Divinity. (I already own it, it's an amazing game)

Here's the gift code for the first person to grab. Have fun :)
