mesjarch: You people act like someone forces you to buy it

OldOldGamer: Naaa, personally I found amusing the times that GOG go live with "promo" like this one. ;-) They even find people that shell out money for something that could be "worth" less! Incredible!
For me, someone at GOG should really do more market research. Idea of promo is (or was) fine, proposition of "pay what you want" is good too - and new for GOG - it's good, even very good for GOG is trying to get its share on this part. But its finish is lacking some important details which caused originally good promo to end as, well, disappointing one. I think someone did not check and test all possible options and/or did not take all these possibilities into consideration basing on other successful internet bundles.

Well, paid $0.50 to get a GOG backup version for DD.
Welp, I didn't have any of these games but I had been thinking about getting the first two for a while. They looked promising enough and I decided I'd give Larian Studios a chance. After all not only are they giving us the game DRM free BUT they are also giving us the Developers version. That's pretty rad. It is a pretty bold move these days and I think GOG and Larian deserve to be rewarded for it. They get 32 bucks from me as that will be the going price(for all 3 games) once Divinity 2 releases.
Whelp, I own both early Divinities, and I don't much care for the new ones, so I guess I'll skip this promo. Good work on trying something new, GOG.

Bloodygoodgames: I will add, if you haven't bought Divine Divinity yet, you really should. It's a truly spectacular game, which I've been playing on and off for three weeks now. And if you do every quest, it's at least an 80 hour game. I'm hoping to get it finished this weekend, as my backlog is immense, but have to say it's been one of my BEST purchases on GOG. Will definitely be buying Beyond Divinity -- probably some time after Christmas when I get through a few other games first. Just can't justify doing it now (especially as I'm broke anyway, LOL).

Nordwolf: But you should not be too much disappointed... because BD is waaaaaaay behind DD. DD is one of my favourite games, too. BD is not a bad game on it's own, but compared to DD, it's terrible.
I think that's also why I've held off buying it :) I've read some pretty awful reviews about BD, with just about anyone who played the original game very disappointed with it.

I will buy it eventually, but probably quite a while after I finish DD when I don't remember quite how amazing the game is :)

Garugo: This is what I get for sleeping. Wake up to find new humble bundle-style promo, but the whole thing costs more than the only game I don't have. :( And not too keen on having gift codes laying around (still have my Realms of Arkania 1+2 code without any idea of what to do with it), so I'm going to skip on this unless the average drops pretty severely, unfortunately. If I had gotten up about 5 hours ago, though, I would've been all over this bundle.
I couldn't find anyone to take my code either. So I went to the PC Gamer forums and just threw it out there in a few different threads.

I like the idea of bringing this anthology to GOG. If I didn't have all of the titles then I'd be right in there. Gift codes are fun but I'm not going to spend so much more for some extra "goodies." I could get another GOG or two for that.
Eh, not interested. Already own the first game, which I've yet to play, and I haven't heard much praise for the latter two. Besides, Divinity 2 would make my lappie sputter and die.
Whether the new versions will completely replace the old versions, or will the old versions become "extras" of a sort - this I don't know. So, backing up DD/BD today.

Neilk40: Yes i'm downloading Divine Divinity right now just in case the old version isn't still available by tomorrow.
Exactly my thought too. I think I'll make a local backup of the "old" DD and BD games now, just in case. Starting the downloads in 3... 2... 1...
i see that the price is slowly going down ...

Kudos to GOG for experimenting and trying new things. However, I have to say that it's almost comical how poorly thought out the mechanics of this promo are. You should try to find someone with quantitative skills to help you out with these things...
I just realized that the slider has been slighty modified.
Argh, this video won't go after the first 30-something seconds no matter how many times I try to preload it. I know this is probably my internet connection's fault, but I give up.

Edit: finally got it, hah, I love the money-throwing!

I guess that at the very least people can pay what they want for Divine Divinity. I haven't heard many good things about Beyond Divinity, and I can tell you from experience that Divinity II isn't an especially good game. But hey, cheap games, right?

This. And somehow top price is going down too, step by step - how is it possible according to FAQ and promo rules?

edit: it seems that 10% includes now $0.01-type prices.. hmm...
