The top 10% of our most generous users will also grant themselves an early access to the upcoming Divinity 2: Developer's Cut.The Developer's Cut, which is the ultimate edition of the game, comes with Divinity II and the expansion Divinity II: Flames of Vengeance, as well as a special developer's mode and extra goodies, will be available on PC on the 18th of October, 2012, but if you buy it here you will get to play it a day earlier than everyone else! The "Director's Cut" subtitle also means, that you'll have the unique opportunity to experience the game just as the developers did: with optional access to developer console you'll feel like the god of the realm.

But that's not all! All of the games come with an extensive amount of goodies--especially Divinity 2: Developer's Cut features a crazy amount of bonus materials (all of which you can access as soon as you finalize your purchase). I don't really understand how it works. Will only the upper 10% get all games or will they only get an early access to Divity 2? Will the 10% count at the end of the campaign or at the moment you set the price? In my opinion there are missing some clear statements in the description.

From the Promo Page:
You can pay any price you want and receive Divine Divinity, the classic RPG that started it all, along with the 6 goodies that come with the game. If you pay more than the average price for the Anthology, you'll receive Divine Divinity and the next game in the series, Beyond Divinity, as well as all 12 goodies from these two games. Finally, if you pay more than the top 10% of people who have participated in this sale ($20.99, right now), you’ll be a Top Supporter of Larian Studios and GOG.com and you can enjoy all of the titles from the Divinity Anthology, netting you copies of Divine Divinity, Beyond Divinity, and Divinity II: Developer's Cut, along with 21 goodies for 32 dollars worth of games at one great price!

I think it is quite clear to understand.
Just to put my two cents in here, I've got DD, BD and the original DII release, and at the time of this posting the price for all three was 20.99 USD minimum. The wording on some of the items was confusing and that's asking a great deal to get a game a day early in the peak release season. I love the games, and I wish I could go for it, but my wallet just can't take the abuse. Would have been great if I had gotten up right at the beginning though.

If you're in the top 10% at the time you buy the bundle, you'll get everything. Afterwards it doesn't matter if the 10% moves around, you already have your games :)
Only 1350 bundles sold ?
Ah, this is not for me. I own the first but haven't played it yet so I'm not sure if I like the series. Plus since I own the first, paying over the average to get the second would cost more than just buying the second on its own.

What's going to happen once the average reaches $12 I wonder? That's as much as buying the first two normally.
What's so different about divinity ii: director's cut anyway? I don't see anything new. Does it just have a snazzy new name? That's cool.

It had already surpassed 12$ a while ago, but has dropped again since.

I don't think it matters much, since you'll always get a better deal by buying DD for the minimum, and BD from the catalogue. This situation will stay until the average price for the bundle drops to something lower than 6$, which at the moment looks very improbable.

This promo's "BTA" has no sense at all, as you can currently get both games for 50% off ($6 total) at GOG (not including out of GOG ways when you can get both games even more cheaper).

The dev console is left open for players to use. I'm not sure if that's all, but that's what they're promoting. Doesn't make it any more appealing over the Dragon Knight Saga release to me if that's all it is, but I guess it is what it is.

Great, I have absolutely no interest in that. Not that I would have bought it anyway; I'm very allergic to buying games I already have :)
For those who already own Divine Divinity and Beyond Divinity, will our copies be automatically converted to the remastered copies upon release? Will that be dependent on whether we purchase the Anthology?

edit: nevermind. My question was answered here:

Neilk40: Yes i would like to know if Divine Divinity on GOG is the hi-res version for windows 7?
I'm 100% sure that GOG versions of DD and BD will be updated to those in the Anthology pack, keeping the same retail price of $5.99 (Windows 7 remastered and supporting HD resolutions).

Keep in mind that GOG doesn't sell the Anthology as a pack.
But they sell all 3 games separately ... it's even better as this way you can buy whatever you want from the pack!

And i'm pretty sure there will be promo sales with the whole Divinity universe.
So it's quite all right, even better.

I suppose the GOG versions of the game might already be hi-res for Windows 7
