looks to me as the minimum price is locked to $17.00

To get on the Top20 board, you have to pay at least $17.99, you get DII already at $17.00 ($16.99 is not enough)
A pay what you want promo where you have to pay $17 to get all three games takes some chutzpah. Not that I'm complaining; I actually find it pretty funny. But I already have the first two, and the $2 discount I'd get on the third isn't enough to make me break my budget,
No thanks. The Divinity franchise was killed for me with the ending of Divinity 2 Ego Draconis. After that annoying "In your face - scr* you for playing our game" ending, I lost all interest in further divinity games, no matter how low the price may be.

Lexor: I am not into Indie Gala, but do they announce such possibility of such fixes/happy hours at start of promo? Or they are unexpected?
avatar
keeveek: Sometimes they tell when they will occur, sometimes don't. Well, let's just hope GOG set up some maximum minimum price point for all games... We're just few dollars away from where this bundle starts to be not so good offer to people who are not interested in supporting the devs.
Anyway it seems such fixes are expected in Indie Gala, right?
There is no mention about manual fixes in text here.

Blame Alquist for buying it for $1000. It pushed up the average price by a lot.

That's what expansion is for. You can get your revenge ;)

mobutu: The slider cannot go past the maximum $39.99 value.

JMich: Click on number, type a number, pay what you want. Also explained in the FAQ.
Obviously i know that but the original poster thought different ;)
The ideea is ofc you can pay one thousand usd if you want but the default max. value wont go over 39.99

A much more interesting experiment, though not sure how viable financially, would be to have the new game as PWYW, and the older ones on the BTA. Thus we would have a true median of what people are willing to pay, since currently one has to pay increasing amounts of money to get the newer game.
Not sure if there is a cap (quite possible) or not, but this will mess with the price quite a bit.

PirateNeilsouth: Pay what you want for the Divinity Anthology It isn't actually, its pay what you want for Divine Divinity, you gotta pay 15.99 for DII.. that isn't exactlying paying what i want to pay. Misleading advertising
avatar
Lexor: Ah, right, its not good too... :( sigh
Nope not really, it's a bit of a con!

It's as bad as BT's broadband " UNLIMITED USAGE "

but it's actually fair usage rates apply :p

Alquist's pledge upped the average for BD, but it had an extremely marginal effect on the average for Div2. BD's price point is done by a mean of all pledges, but Div2's price point is done by a percentile of pledges themselves. So his pledge had the same effect on Div2 as any other top-10% pledge, and it would have had that same effect if he'd paid $20,000.
Well, since I only want beyond divinity and already have divine, this PWYW doesn't quite work

By $1.51 before rounding, to be exact, assuming the average is an arithmetic mean).

Their unlockable goals go all the way up to 150,000 sales. I don't think they expected the average cost to rise so rapidly, but I guess we'll see whether they can reach those numbers at this cost.
